  • 2 medium Onions (peeled)
  • 2 cups of Plain Yogurt
  • Juice from 1 Lemon or Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. of Sugar
  • 1 Black Pepper (Kaali Mirch) (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp. of Grounded Cumin Seeds (Pisa Zeera)
  • 2 tbsp. of Grounded Coriander Seeds (Pisa Dhania)
  • 1 tsp. Garam Masala
  • ½ to ¾ tsp. of Cayenne Peppers or Chilli Paste
  • 1 tsp. Ginger Paste (Pisi Adrak) (preferably freshly grounded)
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Paste (Pisa Lehsan) (preferably freshly grounded)
  • 1 bunch of Cilantro/Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) (chopped)
  • ½ tsp. Turmeric Powder (Pisi Haldi)


  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and liquify well.
  2. Simmer on stove in a pot on low heat until it thickens slightly and the flavor is set.
  3. Sauce is ready to serve.

Serving Suggestions: This Kabab Sauce can be served with any Kabab/Grill Recipe or any other dish of your choice.
