2 medium Onions (peeled)

2 cups of
Plain Yogurt

Juice from 1 Lemon or Rice Vinegar

1 tbsp. of Sugar

1 Black Pepper (Kaali Mirch) (to taste)

2 tbsp. of Grounded Cumin Seeds (Pisa Zeera)

2 tbsp. of Grounded Coriander Seeds (Pisa Dhania)

1 tsp.
Garam Masala

½ to ¾ tsp. of Cayenne Peppers or Chilli Paste

1 tsp. Ginger Paste (Pisi Adrak) (preferably freshly grounded)

1 tsp. Garlic Paste (Pisa Lehsan) (preferably freshly grounded)

1 bunch of Cilantro/Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) (chopped)

½ tsp. Turmeric Powder (Pisi Haldi)
- Put all ingredients in a blender and liquify well.
- Simmer on stove in a pot on low heat until it thickens slightly and the flavor is set.
