  • ½ kilogram Mushrooms (with stalks removed)
  • 4 tbsp. Olive Oil or Salad Oil
  • 2 tbsp. Vinegar (Sirka)
  • 1 tsp. Garlic (Lehsan) (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh Ground Peppers (to taste)

  • 2 tbsp. Roasted Nuts (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. Garden Herbs (shredded)
  • 2 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch) (seeded & chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. Pickled Onions (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp. Bread Crumbs (Fresh Whole Wheat)
  • Mushroom Liquid (to bind)


  1. Put mushrooms in a bowl or dish; set aside. Seperately in a bowl whisk together the oil, vinegar, garlic, oregano and seasoning.
  2. Pour the mixture over mushrooms. Cover and chill overnight. Serve the next day.
