~A Word From Da Prez~

Hey everyone!  Hope the New Year is going well for you.  Those of you
still
in school, good luck on your exams!  I've gotten accepted to one college
and just applied to another so come next fall I'll probably be back in school.
Amanda's 20th Birthday was recently, hope she had a good one.  I've been
pretty busy lately.  Those of you that like to visit my website "Wilkinson
High" it's been totally revamped with a new layout and updated! February 10th
I'll be seeing Aaron Carter for the 3rd time, I can't wait!  He's coming
to Mall of America before the show to sign autographs!  I'm so excited,wish me
luck on meeting him.  Well that's about all for now.  Till next time.

thisopputunity to do it as well! this kinda feels like the "braggin" section!
heh....just kiddin! we'll see if tracey actually glances at the edited
version of this cause if she does chances are this is all taken out! :-)
anywho, i being Vanessa, the one that was suppose to see wilks on mandys
birthday (no worries wilks, i hold nuttin against you for postponing
it!) so therefore i was in charge of the b-day present, welp its all done and
finished, and we decided to hold off on sending it til its given to her in
person...which will be April 12to 2002, so this mean its not to late to
still send in messages! so knock yourself out! until next time, stay cool!

~Yes We've Got It...The Wilks Latest News~

The Wilkinsons recently appeared on the Grand Ole Opry Live!  Friday
nite they debuted a brand new song titled "Words".  Amanda sings lead and it's a
great ballad about just what the title says; words.  They also sang "Jimmy's
Got a Girlfriend" and chatted with fans before they went onstage.  In my opinion
the chat wasn't all that great because the moderator didn't do anything.  The
way you asked questions was just to normally type it so the screen was going
by so fast I have no idea how the Wilkinsons were able to answer questions
but they did.  Saturday nite they were on again, this time on the televised version. 
I don't have CMT so I have yet to see it, but I hear the Wilkinsons got cut off in 
the middle of a song.

**Interuption by Vanessa...beep beep...this canadian viewer saw it...it
was more like they started showin them after their first song and in the
middle of a conversation....but it still was grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

Other than that things on the Wilkinson front are pretty quiet.
They should be in the studios very soon working on a new album for their brand new
label, RCA!  Stay tuned for more as we hear it.

havetickets to any of these shows they should be refundable, but I'd switch
them fast if you haven't already.

Fame a piece of cake

  NASHVILLE -- The Wilkinsons have a mantel full of awards, but what dad

Steve Wilkinson must be most proud of is the way his teens conduct
themselves. Dealing with fame as an adult has proven devastating to
some, but when it comes to teens and fame, it's even more difficult. That's why
it's so impressive that teen members of the family trio The Wilkinsons -- Tyler,
16,and Amanda, 18 -- are such nice, polite and easy-going, young adults. 
Tyler has found himself caughtin the rumour mill of romance, but he's not influenced. 
While talking withtheseCanadians, Tyler easily shrugs off any suggestions he's a teen
heart-throb.His father has the proof that his son isn't about to start thinking like
asex symbol. "About a year and a half ago, we were sitting in an
autograph line and a girl told Tyler, 'If you get bored later, call me.' After she
wasout of ear-shot, Tyler turned to me and said, "If I get bored, I have PlayStation,' " 
laughs Steve.

          With the trio's great success, Tyler has treated himself to
Sega's Dreamcast. "Yeah, he plays it 24/7," teases Amanda.  But this addiction of video
gamesisn't frowned upon by his father. "I tell parents to go ahead and buy
Dreamcast because if your child gets hooked on it, you can say, 'Keep up your
homework or I take away Dreamcast.' It's a wonderful tool," explains Steve.

       Amanda's luxury treat was to buy herself a Volkswagen Beetle.
"It's black and it's great," she proudly says. Tyler, who was planning on
getting his learner's permit as soon as he could, doesn't agree: "It's so
embarrassing, I have to duck when I'm in it." Amanda pretends to be
upset for a moment  before the subject is changed.

          The Wilkinsons hope to tour in November and if all goes as
planned, their opening act will be another Canadian teen --
