"Where's Rok?" Nick asked stepping into the studio.
"No Clue," Howie sighed.
"He's in Kentucky," Courtney smiled.
"Why?"
"Some time off. Lauren just called. She's flying up there today. He's pretty lonely."
"Poor guy. I feel so bad for him. I don't think he could handle another loss."
"Me either," Aj patted Nick on the back and then pulled out the music sheet.
"Now sexy guys. From the top," Courtney giggled.
"Brian? It's Leigh. Brian I really think you should stop this! Call me Bear! Bye. You're kids need you!" He hit stop for the millionth time. How could she just walk away? How could she just leave me? Leave me and my kids? After all this time?
The door bell ringing brought himout of his thoughts.
"Mr. Littrell?" Lucy called from the doorway, Lucy had been his nanny for the kids for a long tiime now. Brian waved her in, she smiled thoughtfully and sat down a tray with some tea and toast. "A young lady is at the door. A Lauren?"
"Oh yeah. Send her in Luc. And thanks."
"Don't worry Sir. I know things will work out and Ms. Leigh will be back anytime." Brian gave the maid a small smile and waved her to get the door.
"Hey Lauren," Brian smiled holding his little girl in his lap.
"Brian-I," Lauren stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the girl. She was definatly Brian's daughter. Her blonde curly hair, crystal clear blue eyes, and a cute little face. Lauren smiled.
"Where's Mommy?" The little girl looked up at her dad and then back at the stranger who had just entered her home.
"She's with Tommie. She'll be back soon hun."
"Hey Katie. How ya doin'? I'm Lauren, you're daddy's friend." The little girl looked back at her dad and then back at Lauren then once again at her father, and then giggled.
"Oh..like Nick and aunty Ney."
"Yeah..kinda." Brian chuckled holding his daughter tighter in his arms.
