Snake Bite is a braided line coated with a plastic to make it stiff. To utilize Snake Bite to it's fullest you must strip back the plastic coating. Doing this enables you to creat an array of custom hooklinks. These types of rigs hardly ever tangle, but the hook still remains flexible. We strip back .5 -1 inch on average, but you could also strip more coating for increased flexibility. Stiff rigs can be used for better hooking properties(not removing the coating). Also, Snake Bite is very abrasion resistant.
