If after snorkeling, a visitor wants to take the dive, literally, and become certified, this too is possible, and in only a week’s time. Aruba’s different dive centers offer resort dive courses and refresher courses all the way up to Assistant Instructor. Specialty courses are also offered with diving certification available in drift, wreck, photo, night, search/ recovery, multi-level, etc.

These same dive centers also offer a wide range of dive equipment for rental, making it unnecessary to bring such heavy, cumbersome dive equipment as tanks and weights to the island.

Aruba’s experienced and courteous dive guides and instructors also cater to specific groups, covering the gamut from divers of special needs to hard-core divers who wish to take on the island’s most challenging dive adventures such as the California Wreck or the North Coast Dive by Andicuri (Natural Bridge).
