The Unmatchable Matching Of Zangulus and Martina!

Hey... we all know Zangulus is a rugged, no-company, bad-ass, yet strangely attractive bounty hunter.
We all know Martina is a spoiled, obsessive, extremely influencial yet strangely pretty-in-her-own-reguard princess.
So lots of people say... they say...
"Amy, how could two such opposites ever end up together?!?! THAT'S INSANE!!"
I have never had as much argument in the case. ^_^

Zangulus and Martina meet toward the very end of NEXT. Needless to say, there isn't much time to get a romance going (which I was upset about...) but Zangulus and Martina have kind of a spur of the moment love, mostly cause Martina swoons over him like all the other guys.
So you're saying "YOU BIG DUMMY!! Zangulus just wants an easy chick!" Oooo you are WRONG! These two are perfectly matched, and let me tell you why.

Trait #1
Zangulus is lonely. Amazingly lonely. He would never admit it, but he is. Besides wanting to be the best, can you think of any other reasons he might follow around Lina and Gourry? They certainly give him enough attention. Yes, you may not believe me... but I have right to believe beneath the tough guy act, Zangulus is craving attention. Why? I don't know. But I think he is.

Trait #2
Zangulus also has a high sense of honor. If we was to have respect for someone, his honor would allow him to stick by them in the toughest of times. As we have witnessed, he even helps Lina and Gourry sometimes due to that sense of honor.

Trait #3
Last important trait of Zangulus to make this work is, of course, he is pretty good looking. Don't you DARE argue with me, you know it's true!! You cannot deny it!! ...eh heh. ^^;

Okay... Martina.

Trait #1
Martina is not only an attention-craver, she is an attention-giver! Once she has her eye set on a man, he is her everything. We've all witnessed this, she's totally devoted (if not obsessed ^_^) with whoever she dares lend her affection to.

Trait #2
Martina, because of her obsession, gets into a lot of trouble. We also might lend this to her stubborness, spoiled attitude, clumsiness--

HEY!! You are SUPPOSED to be showing why Zangulus-sama and I belong together, not telling all these false bad-points about me!!

...^^; Anyway. She would definitely need someone to stick up for her. Even if it weren't necessarily the right thing she had done to get her in trouble ^^; she would need someone who has enough care or honor for her to stick up for her wrongs, since she really isn't that bad at heart.

Trait #3
I went out and got an overall opinion on this one from some of my guy associates, and world rejoice, it's true! Martina is just as kirei as anybody! Maybe her attitude isn't a perfect ten, but she's attractive in her own way. *peasants rejoice*

Okay... put them all together!! Both Trait #1's suggest that the attention Zangulus is craving can be given up by Martina, and if she wants attention I'm sure Zangulus could all but offer it, right? Trait #2's both say Zangulus has the amount of honor enough to stick up for his woman, be it right or wrong! He'd be on her side, the way a good boyfriend/husband/companion should be! And lastly, the Trait #3's just show good looks do go well together.

You know... they do have linking traits... but if you are in doubt of my judgement... just remember this saying about love, that most of the time will ring true! (Most of, not all..)
