Three friends walked quickly to the center of the commons area of the college. "Carson," she screamed running and jumping into his arms.
"Babe," he smiled hugging her then letting her down slowly.
"Where's my man at," she asked hugging her other two friends.
"Oh him. He's comin', he's all slow," her friend Alexia declared laughing.
"Hey sexy," a tall brunette guy said leaning down and kissing her on the cheek.
"You know what Jeff? I'm so glad I decided to move to Columbia," she smiled wrapping her arms around her best friends waist as she walked off with him to her dorm.
"Just gotta have faith in chaos I guess," she looked up at her friend oddly.
"Yup," she screamed running off, a new life ahead of her.

She flipped through her mail until she found the one she had been waiting for. She opened the envelope carefully smiling at the Florida return address. She began to read it aloud, "first and foremost we both want to thank you! For everything, and I'm so sorry for everything, we both are actually. And I love you! Candice smiled as she folded up the letter. Jeff laid his head on her shoulder and inhaled her scent.
"I missed you."
"I missed you more!"
"What's this," he grabbed the envelope and began reading. "What did you send them? Or should I be asking who they are?"
Candice kissed his cheek, pulled him over to the sofa, sat down on his lap and laughed. "How much time you got?"

"I can't believe you're here," Nick said into her hair.
"I'm so glad to be here," she kissed his neck lightly.
"Who sent you?"
"Candice," Nick smile down at her.
"I love that girl," Mandy smiled.
"Me, too. She also gave me this video thing, I guess we watch it?" Nick shrugged his shoulders and followed her into his house.

"Hey guys!" Candice popped up on the screen. "Now before you get all mushy and pissed at me, hear me out! And sit down Nick, I'm not gonna lecture you on life and crap like that." Nick smiled watching the screen as Candice pulled a picture out of a paper bag. "Now, this is a picture of you guys, I took it one night, remember that Mandy? Well, anyway, while I was in the hospital I did a lot of thinking. I thought about Pat and I and you guys. I know how I almost died when Pat did. I also know that if Nick ever got hurt Mandy, you would want to die, too. I realized that you two need each other and your love isn't blind." Nick smiled over at Mandy and reached for her hand. "I was also thinking about this on my way home, that's three days of thinking. This song came on and I know it fits you guys SO well! Maybe not every word, but the basic idea is there." Candice got out of her chair and pressed play on her CD player.
"Best of luck," Nick read the sign she held up and laughed as a guy walked behind her with a sign that said "I want it Nick Carter." The music soon started to play and tears stung Mandy's eyes as Nick pulled her into his arms.
