The truck's position relative to my position.

As you can see the distance of the truck relative to mine, might seem not that far, taking a direct route, however, consider exhibit B and C:

My current position. As you can gather from this picture, in order to get to the truck my initial vector would be a direct opposite to my destination, hence exhibit C:

After exiting the door my vector will change in direction 2 more times down the stairs and then make 2 90 degree turns to have the vector pointing to its destination, from which i still will be 20 yrds off.
