The story starts out with Son Goku as a young boy -- very naive and innocent. Secluded inthe depths of a forest, he has never seen another human with the sole exception of his latementor and grandfather, Son Gohan. A girl in a car almost drives over Goku and the fish(about twice his size) which he had caught for dinner. After observing the damage that theboy causes to her car, she persuades him to serve as her protector (although her intentionsare not clear) on her journey to recover the legendary Dragon Balls. She explains to him thatthe Dragon Balls are crystal-like balls with stars embedded in them. Scattered across theglobe, all seven balls, when united, summon a dragon (the Shen-lon) who will grant anywish. The young girl's name is Bulma and she is an electronics whiz. She invented aDragon Ball radar to facilitate the search. And so their adventures begin, in search of theDragonballs. We soon meet new friends such as the Kamesenin (Turtle Master), Yamcha (and his cat-likefriend Puuru), and a shape-changing pig named Oolong. Kame and Oolong are twocharacters who seem to share the same dirty minds. Goku is soon taken under the wing ofthe great Mutenroshisama (AKA Kame-san) joined by another boy, Krillin,who comes to train with him. They provide refuge to a girl on the run, named Lunch whohas a split personality. One side of here is as innocent as an angel and has blue hair, but theother persona is a violent, foul-mouthed, criminal with blonde hair. Goku and Krillinparticipate in their first tournament--the Tenkaichi-budokai--yet they fail to win by a narrowmargin, thanks to Kame who has disguised himself to enter the event. They part ways tobegin training on their own. Goku soon runs into trouble with the world terrorist movement,Red Ribbon. He then finds himself training with his next teacher, Karin (the CatMaster).After training for three days, his power increases to the extent that he manages toannihilate the Red Ribbon HQ. He soon makes his first wish, by using the Dragon Balls andask that a little boy's murdered father to be resurrected. "The Terror of Piccolo-Daimao" Once again, Goku trains and signs up for the next Tenkai. At this tournament, we areintroduced to Tenshin-han and Choazu, the pupils of Kame's nemesis. The final match isbetween Goku and Tenshin-han and by the stroke of bad luck, Goku loses. Suddenly,Krillin is murdered just before Goku is about to meet up with him and the rest of the gang.Goku, burning with rage, pursues the assassin, but gets beaten to a pulp since he has usedup all of his energy during the tournament. In the meantime, we learn of Piccolo--the Devilhimself-- who brings a reign of terror upon the world. Fearing the possibility of Goku'sdeath when he fails to return after many hours, Kame and Tenshin-han join forces. They search for the Dragon Balls to prevent the Devil from gaining whatever he wishes, and bymanga issue #13, Kame has died. Tenshin-han is about to be killed by Piccolo when Gokuappears, after having taken the senzu pill from Karin which instantly restores all of Goku'spower. He defeats Piccolo. But before he dies, Piccolo gives birth to his successor. God(Kame-son), knowing this, offers to train Goku and this is an opportunity he obviouslywon't refuse. Kame, Krillin, and Choazu are brought back to life by the dragonballs. At thenext tournament, Goku appears as a fully grown man, and he has become a completely newperson. The main focus of the games is the climatic confrontation between Goku and thereborn Piccolo. After a fierce fight, Goku finally wins. Goku then gets married to Chichi-- aminor character who appears briefly in manga issue #1 and who reappeared at the fight. Dragonball Z: After Goku having a son, Gohan, he reunites with his friends and introduces Gohan. An Alien (Saiyan) named Raditz came to Earth seeking for his brother, Goku (Kakarot),requesting for his help for world domination, Goku refuses. Raditz captures Gohan andblackmails Goku, but Goku doesn't agree and decides to kill Raditz with the help of Piccolo.This opens the first battle of the Dragon Ball Z Series. After Piccolo loses his arms from afireball by Raditz he charges up his makankosappo (special beam), as Goku stalls Raditz,then Goku gets Raditz in a hold and Piccolo fires his Mankankosappo (special beam) killingboth Goku and Raditz. Raditz finds out about the dragon balls from Piccolo and sends amessage to his comrades (Vegeta and Nappa). Piccolo takes Gohan and trains him, as Gokuruns on snake way to get trained from Kaiou (King Ki). And the rest of the Z warriors arebeing trained by Kami. One year later Vegeta and Nappa arrive on Earth looking for thedragon balls. Nappa plants Saiba-men when they fight against the Z warriors. The Z warriors kills all Saiba-men and then they fight Nappa. Tenshinhan, Chuo-zu, and Yamchahave died. Piccolo also dies while saving Gohan. Goku soon arrives and takes out Nappa.Vegeta kills Nappa because he is no longer useful. Goku fights Vegeta, then Vegeta fires anenergy ball into the sky then changes into a weremonkey. Later Yajirobe cuts of his tailturning him back into the regular saiyan form. Goku gives Krillin his tenki-dama (spiritbomb). Then he fires the Genki-dama (spirit bomb) at Vegeta but Vegeta returns for one lastfight. Gohan's tail grows back and he grows into a weremonkey. Gohan beats the crap outtaVegeta and Vegeta cuts off Gohan's tail, then as he tries to escape Krillin tries to kil him butGoku tells him to spare Vegeta's life. Vegeta then leaves in his spacepod. Bulma finds out about the Dragonballs on Namek and leaves for Namek on the spaceshipthat Piccolo and Kami took to get to Earth with Gohan and Krillin. Vegeta also wants to lookfor the Dragonballs for immortality and to kill Freeza. Gokuh heads off to Namek as Vegetafights Freeza's men. After defeating all of Freeza's men Vegeta joins the Gohan and Krillin.Freeza calls on The Ginyu Force and Vegeta kills Guldo, then Recoom beats the crap outtaVegeta, Gohan and Krillin (actually Krillin just gets kicked in the head and says he can'tfight anymore). Then Goku come and kills the rest of the Ginyu Force. Then Goku fights Freeza. Freeza goes through 3 forms, Goku learns how to get to Super Saiyanwhen Krillin was killed. After killing Freeza, Goku goes to Planet Yardrat to learn how toteleport. Freeza's father King Cold, found out what happened to Freeza and collected hispieces through space. Then brings him back to life, Freeza tells his dad about Goku andSaiyan's way of life but his father doubts him. Freeza, Cold, and his crew come to Earth for revenge, but future Trunks comes and easilykills Freeza and his father. Trunks mission was to save Goku from dying to save the futurefrom the androids. Trunks gives Goku the medicine for his heart and tells the Z warriorswhen to meet. Later Dr. Gero builds Android 19 (fat guy with a what looks like a cone onhis head), then he asks the android to make himself into a android to get stronger.The twoandroids fight Goku and Vegeta, Goku gets a heart attack and Vegeta kills Android 19, butAndroid 20 (Dr. Gero escaps). He then goes back to his lab and releases androids 17,18.Android 17 kills Dr. Gero then they release android 16. Android 17 and 18 fight the Zwarriors, Goku gets a heart attack and returns home. Trunks was sent again from Bulma tocure Goku's heart, with the medicine, the medicine cures Goku. Goku and the Z warriorsare training in a chamber instead of fighting. Piccolo and Kami fuses then Dende becomesthe guardian of the Dragonballs. Piccolo finds a creature saying he is Piccolo's brothernamed Cell. He is from the future and can power up as high as Piccolo and the rest of the Zwarriors. He observed the Z warrior's moves and memorized then and can also do theKamehameha. then he fires a kamehameha at Piccolo. Then Cell finds out that Piccolo isstronger than he is because he has fused with Kami. Cell then devours civilians to getstronger. Cell then fights Android #17 then Android #16 fights Cell, Android #16 is noteasily defeated. Then Cell devours Android #17 and gets his powers then he beats upAndroid #16. Then he fights Vegeta and Vegeta lets him devour Android #18 (Trunks triesto stop Cell from doing this) to become more of a challenge. Turning into perfect Cell. LaterAndroid #16 is repaired and fights on the Z warriors.The Z warriors fight Cell but Android#16 is destroyed. Cell then reproduces himself into 7 Cell Juniors. Gohan can now turn into SSJ2 and he destroys all Cell Juniors. Cell later gets kicked and Android #18 comesout. Cellnow is form 2 and he is defeated. Cell tries to self destruct and blow up Earth, but Gokuteleports Cell into Kaiou's (King Ki) planet and blows up there. Soon after a fireball killsTrunks, when Cell in form3 appears, he says that one braincell survived and it multiplieditself into Cell Form3. Gohan is now their only hope. Gohan fires a fireball and so doesCell. With the help of Vegeta, Cell is distracted and also Goku who encourags Gohan to useall his energy, helps Gohan kill Cell. After the battle Trunks returns to the future and Cellarrives to kill him. But Trunks kills him with a giant fireball. the Z warriors also wisheveryone who died to come back alive except Goku because he was already dead. Mr. Satantakes credit for defeating Cell because no one could see because of the masive energy. Last series starts as Goku fighting in a tournament (he is allowed to come back for a day)and Goku and Vegeta training Goten and Trunks. Goten and Trunks has turned SuperSaiyan at a young age and Gohan has a girlfriend named Videl, who is Mr. Satan'sDaughter. Gohan who is the great Saiyan-Man enters the tournament and turns super saiyanbut his costume gets torn to bits and everyone is suprised to see that a nerd is the GreatSaiyan Man. Out of nowhere Spopobitch and Yamu absorb Gohan's energy and take it backto Babi Di who uses it awaken Majin Boo. Piccolo and Krillin are turned to stone by Daburaand Vegeta is turned into Babi's slave with a M on his forhead. Boo is now alive and eatsBabi Di's henchman Dabura (looks like Satan). Piccolo and Krillin turn back to normal andVegeta beats Goku and fights Boo but he blows up killing both of them. Bulma then gets allthe Dragonballs and revives those who have died. Goku reaches SSJ3 and fights Boo. Aftera while he stops and goes to teach Trunks and Goten how to fuse into Gotenks so they willbecome stronger. Gohan trains with Dai Kaiou-shin with the Z sword. Boo kills Babi Di andBoo seperates into two parts, one evil and one good. the evil Boo (skinny one) turns GoodBoo (fat one) into a cookie and eats him. He gets the Boo's powers and he gets taller.Gotenks is also able to turn into SSJ3. But Gotenks can olny fuse for 30 minutes.Meanwhile, Gohan had mastered the Z sword and learned how to use his hidden powerswithout getting angry under training with Dai Kaiou-shin. Gohan comes to save them. ButBoo runs away and tricks Goten and Trunks to go SSJ3 Gotenks. Thus, Boo absorbedGotenks' powers and becomes stronger again. He changes form again! Piccolo is alsodefeated and eaten by Boo. Gohan fights Boo but he is defeated too. Goku is still dead andwatches the fight through Kaiou-shin's crystal ball. Seeing the unfortunate odds for ourheroes, Dai Kaiou-shin sacrifices he life to Goku and dies. Goku's halo disappears, and DaiKaiou-shin wakes back up with a halo over his head. Now, Goku teleports into the battle.Goku acquires a pair of special earrings from the Kaiou-shins that when each one is worn bytwo different people, the two will permanently fuse.(Unfortunately, Gohan is engulfed.Boo, now with Gohan's powers, changes form again. Vegeta, still dead, is also sent intobattle by the judge of death. With Goku wearing one of the earrings and Vegeta wearing theother, the two are pulled together and fused into Vegetto! At Vegetto's turn to fight Boo,Boo seems to be of no match to Vegetto, but Vegetto purposely gets eaten by Boo to savethe other Z warriors. This cancelled the effects of the permanent fusion in Vegetto andVegetto fisses back into Goku and Vegeta. They saves everyone in boo's body. Next, Boo undergoes another form change and temporarily becomes very muscular as hestands still in pain through the form change. Goku and Vegeta are now inside of Boo'sorgans. They find Trunks, Goten, Gohan, and Piccolo, and rescue them by carrying themout of one of Boo's pores. As they leave Boo, the warriors grow bigger and are restored totheir normal size. Fat Boo, the good Boo, also escapes from Boo's body. The evil Boo, still"puffy" and bulky, is undergoing his form change to restore to his original form.Afterwards, he is little and short. Next, evil Boo does a giant fireball and blows up Earth!!!Luckily, Kaiou-shin had enough time and teleported Goku and his comrades to Kaiou-shin'splanet. Later, the Namek dragonballs are gathered and a wish is made to restore the earth.Boo saw Kaiou-shin teleporting and learns how to do it. He goes to Kaiou-shin's planet.Goku and Vegeta are alone in Kaiou-shin's planet fighting Boo. Goku fights boo first inSSJ3 but Vejeta tells Goku to make Genki-Dama while he fights Boo. Vegeta stalls Boo asGoku gathers the energy to do a Super Genki-Dama fireball. While Vegeta is getting kickedaround by Boo, Piccolo, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks are on Earth trying to convince theearthlings to raise their hands so that their energy will be given to aid Goku strengthen hisfireball. Because no one on earth listens to the heroes, a new approach is taken. Mr. Satan iscontacted for help. Because of his fame, he goes into public and raises his hands. All of hisfans, everyone on Earth, raise their hands too to show their appreciation to Mr. Satan. Witheveryone's hand raised, energy is transfered to Goku and now he has enough power todestroy Boo. With a single super fireball, Boo is destroyed. At the end, the fat Boo, whowas beaten unconscious, awakens and enters our heroes' side. Ten years past. Goten andTrunks are now almost teenagers. Gohan married Videl and now has a 5 year old daughter,Pan. Goku wished to fight the evil Boo all over again, so he wished for the reincarnation ofthe evil Boo. The evil Boo, now Ubuu, is reincarnated and under the training of Goku.There is peace on earth...for now Dragonball GT: The Baby Series Baby's Revenge... Here, we enter the first series of Dragonball GT... Ten years passed since the end of Dragonball Z. Ubuu trains with Goku. Goten andTrunks are adults. Pan is 14 years old. Satan is balding. Krillin has a mustache and grayhair. Since the defeat of evil Boo, there was peace on earth... Pilaf has finally gathered all the Dragon Balls to wish for world domination. Shenlong issummoned. Without notice, Goku enters the scene. Pilaf, surprised to see Goku after allthese years, starts to wish that Goku was still a kid so that he could be easier to defeat.Shenlong takes this for the wish and turns Goku back into a kid. Pilaf runs off and is neverseen again. Goku returns to his house and tells everyone what happened. Popo appears and tellsGoku that the Black Star Dragon Balls are scattered in space. Goku decides to find theseDragon Balls to restore himself to his normal form. (The Dragon Balls of the Earth can onlybe used to grant wishes once a year.) More surprisingly, Popo tells that these Dragon Ballsmust be gathered within a year or the Earth will explode! Goku and Trunks get on a spacecapsule to set voyage on their new quest. Pan sneaks aboard the capsule and accidentlydamages an engine. The space capsule crashes into many planets. In these planets, our heroes acquire the BlackStar Dragon Balls and meet a cast of minor characters. (It was these boring scenes that madepeople hate Dragon Ball GT at first.) During these scenes, Goku and Trunks enter theirSuper Saiyan form for the first time in Dragon Ball GT to battle the minor villains. Pan alsofights, but spends most of her time watching the Super Saiyans in amazement. In addition,our heroes meet Gill, a little robot who swallowed the Dragon Ball radar. As a result, ourheroes take him on their journey because he acts like a live Dragon Radar. Our heroes land on Dr. Myuu's planet. Dr. Myuu is an evil scientist who creates a bunch ofcyborgs and robots. Gill is one of his creations. Trunks is kidnapped. Pan tries to rescueTrunks while Goku fights Ruudo, a creation of Dr. Myuu. Ruudo is killed. Gill helpsTrunks and Pan escape and our crew returns to space. One of Dr. Myuu's projects is Baby. Baby is the only surviving Tsufuru-jin. Planet Plant,his native planet, was destroyed by the Saiyans back when the Saiyans worked asmercenaries for Freeza. As the only survivor, Baby wants revenge on all Saiyans, innocentor guilty. Dr. Myuu found Baby in space and saved him. Baby has the power to take overbodies and acquire his victims' power. Baby takes over Dr. Myuu's body and kills him. Goku, Trunks, Pan, and Gill finally return to Earth with all seven Black Star Dragon Balls.Goku takes them to Popo to secure them for later use. However, Baby also lands on Earth.Slowly, he takes over the bodies of Trunks, Gohan, and Goten. Even when he leaves theirbodies, an egg is left in their brain. This egg makes its victim a zombie of Baby. (WhenGohan was Gohan-Bebi, he fought and injured Piccolo with a fireball.) Baby finally finds abody that satisfies him- Vegeta's! Vegeta's body is taken over and Vegeta-Bebi is formed!Soon, everyone on Earth become zombies of Baby except Satan, Pan, Boo, Ubuu, andGoku. Popo, also a victim of Baby, uses the Black Star Dragonballs to creat another PlanetPlant for Baby. (By this time, Dragonball GT begans to get interesting and unsatified fans began to take upinterest in this sequel series to Dragonball Z.) Ubuu faces Vegeta-Bebi and is defeated. Fat Boo joins the battle and is killed. Boo's body is near Ubuu and his spirit enters Ubuu. Thetwo fuse and Ubuu learns that he and Boo were originally one. However, even with thisfusion, Ubuu is no match for Vegeta-Bebi. Goku faces Vegeta-Bebi. Vegeta-Bebi is stronger and easily defeats the young Goku.Goku powers up to Super Saiyan level 3, but is still defeated; Vegeta-Bebi can also powerup to level 3. Pan hides in the background and watches the fight. The defeated Goku ispulled out of the fight by Kaiou-shin. On Kaiou-shin's planet, the Kaiou-shininhabitantsubstances are creating a formula that will make Goku's tail grow back. (The tailis the main source of power for a Saiyan.) Goku's tail is only partially grown. Kaiou-shinpulls it to make it reach normal length. Goku returns to Planet Plant to face Vegeta-Bebi. After getting beaten by Vegeta-Bebiagain, Goku lies on the ground and stares at the Earth. The "full-Earth" acts as a full-moon.As a result, Goku reaches Oozaru (weremonkey) stage and becomes a giant golden ape.(The ape is gold instead of brown because it was the Earth that caused the transformationinstead of the moon). Goku is a lot stronger, but is unable to control his body in Oozarustage and trashes everything in sight. Another change occurs. Goku acquires control overhis body and enters another stage beyond Oozaru. He powers up and becomes Super Goku4. The tide of the battle is turned and Vegeta-Bebi is losing. The zombie Bulma creates aspecial magnifying glass for her husband. It magnifies the rays of the full-Earth andVegeta-Bebi enters Oozaru stage. Goku gets defeated once again. Meanwhile, Kaiou-shin resolves that Chou-sui water couldcleanse people from Baby's control. He goes to Sky Palace to get the Chou-sui water.Dende and Popo are cleansed in the struggle against Kaiou-shin. This water is spread toeveryone. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, (now free from Baby's control) and Pan surround Gokuand form a circle. Their energy is donated to Goku. Goku and Vegeta-Bebi face eachother again. Goku does a Kamehameha fireball and defeats Vegeta-Bebi. Baby leavesVegeta's body and runs to a space capsule to escape, but is killed. The Earth is about to explode because the Black Star Dragon Balls weren't used to wish forthe Earth's stability. Our heroes fly all the inhabitants to Planet Plant. Piccolo decides to stayon Earth to die with it because he loved it. The Earth explodes, and Piccolo goes with it. TheNamek Dragon Balls are gathered and the Earth is restored from the wish, but Piccolo is stilldead. However, one thing is learned- Goku reached a new stage as Super Saiyan... Notes: ¥Super Goku 4 level is not the same as Super Saiyan 4 level. Super Saiyan level ischaracterized by the golden hair. Super Goku 4 level is what resulted in the powerup fromOozaru (giant ape) form. The Evil Shenlon Series Cursed Dragon Balls and Wishes... Here, we discover what was to become of the Dragon Balls and the Earth as a whole... In hell, Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu team up and create Android Artificial 17. They open a portalto go back into the land of the living and escape to Earth. Artificial 17 seeks Android 17 andthey fuse into Super 17. Cell and Freeza have also been upgraded by the scientists and planto take over hell. Goku falls for the plot and gets tricked into going to hell to fight Cell andFreeza. Without Goku on Earth, our heroes don't stand a chance against Super 17. Duringbattle, Dr. Gero is held hostage. With Dr. Myuu's command, Super 17 kills Dr. Geroanyway. Later, Dr. Myuu is also betrayed and is killed. Meanwhile, Krillin and Android 18have also perished in battle and Nappa has escaped from Hell and Vegeta kills him again.Goku defeats Cell and Freeza, but is stuck in hell. Piccolo, who is in heaven, causes chaosin order to be sent to hell where he can help Goku go back to Earth. With a Namek trick,Piccolo and Dende create a portal that allows Goku to enter back to Earth. A battle betweenGoku and Super 17 follows, and Super 17 is killed. The Dragon Balls are gathered to bring Krillin and Android 18 back to life. When Shenlon(dragon of the Dragon Balls) is summoned, but something is wrong. An evil Shenlonappears and laughs wickedly. Our heroes learn that the Dragon Balls have cracked due to thenegative energy that was stored inside the balls when negative wishes were made. A cloudappears around the evil Shenlon, and it transforms into seven evil dragons, each of a DragonBall. The dragons fly off in different directions and wreck chaos. Each dragon has its ownelement. When it finds that element, it will take on its true form. Goku and Pan fly off to fight these dragons. First, they encounter Ryan-Shenlon.Ryan-Shelon tells them that he was born when Bora was wished back to life. This dragon ofthe 2 star Dragon Ball is of water pollution. He is tricked into swimming in clean water and is weakened by this action, Goku and Pan attack and kill him. The 2 star Dragon Ball isrestored. Next, Goku and Pan follow the dragon radar's signal and encounter Uu-Shenlon. It wasborn in the 5 star Dragon Ball when Goku was wished back to life to fight Raditz. Thisdragon of electricity is weakened in rain and destroyed in its weakened state. The 5 starDragon Ball is recovered. Ryuu-Shenlon is the next to appear. This dragon was born when Oolong made the wish forwomen's underwear while fleeing from Pilaf. This dragon possesses the power ofhurricanes. Goku learns of it's weakness and attacks it on the head. Ryuu-Shenlong iseasily defeated and the 6 star Dragon Ball is restored. Following this, Goku and Pan fly to Chii-Shenlon, which was born in the 7 star DragonBall when all the people killed by Majin- Vegeta were wished back to life. Pan gets trickedand becomes trapped in the dragon's body. Goku rescues her and destroys Chii-Shenlon.Another dragonball is recovered. Suu-Shenlon is next for Goku and Pan to encounter. It was born when Piccolo was wishedback to life. This dragon of the sun is associated with the 4 star Dragon Ball. It challengesGoku in a match and the two fight. All of a sudden, San-Shenlon, Suu-Shenlon's brotherand of the 3 star Dragon Ball, appears. After getting mocked by his brother for losing honorin interfering with the match, the dragon of ice fights Goku anyway. It is slayed in battle,and Goku and Suu-Shenlon continue their match. Goku admires Suu-Shenlon's sense ofhonor. The match becomes interfered again when another third party kills Suu-Shenlong. This partyis Li-Shenlon, of the 1 star Dragon Ball. Goku defeats it in Super Goku 4 stage, but thedragon survives. It defeats Pan and steals all the restored Dragon Balls. Li-Shenlon fuseswith the balls and powers up. Super Goku 4 is no match for it in its fused state. Bulma creates a Brute Ray that allowed Vegeta to go Super level 4, and Super Vegeta 4 joinsGoku in battle. The two are still no match for Li-Shenlon. Another stategy is used: SuperGoku 4 and Super Vegeta 4 fuse and become Super Gozita 4! Li-Shenlon is kicked aroundand the Dragon Balls it fused with are restored, but the fusion of Super Gozita 4 wears offbefore Li-Shenlon is killed. Li-Shenlon fuses with the Dragon Balls once again, but Gokugets to the 4 star Dragon Ball before Li-Shenlon can and swallows it so that the dragon can'tfuse with it. Eventually, Goku spits the Dragon Balls back out and Li-Shenlon absorbs it.Vegeta suggests to use fusion again, but Goku is too weak to go Super level 4.
