After easily defeating the other members of the Ginyu Goku decides to let Jeice leave to tell his men to leave the planet. Jeice returns to Captain Ginyu to break the news of his mens dimise,an angry captain Ginyu then sets out to battle with Goku, after getting his men to bury the dragonballs.
After Ginyu and Jeice arrive to battle Goku, Goku tells Krillin and Gohan to leave and find the dragonballs and asks Vegeta to fight along side of him. Vegeta accepts but just as the battle begins he flees to get the dragonballs for himself.
Goku and Ginyu seem to be pretty well matched but once Goku powers up to a full Ginyu gets desperate so with what seems like stupidity he charged up a powerful attack which he used on himself, Goku shocked at this Ginyu then uses his metamorphasis technique abling him to switch bodies with Goku, leaving Goku with the bruised body and Ginyu with Gokus power.
While this is happening Vegeta is at Freeza's ship looking for the Dragonballs Ginyu took and getting some new armour when Gohan and Krillin arrive with the Dragon radar. They lcate the Dragonballs burried outside Freeza's ship and dig up all 7 Dragonballs. Vegeta watches them try to call the Dragon as he doesn't know the password. But Gohan and Krillin fail. Then Ginyu and Jeice arrive and try to trick Gohan and Krillin. Ginyu attacks Krillin but Krillin or Gohan don't want to fight him as he is in Goku's body. Just then Goku arrives and tells Krillin and Gohan they must defeat Ginyu. Ginyu starts mocking them saying his new body is too powerful. But Goku tells him he wont be able to use his body unless he understands it. Ginyu powers up trying to reach 180,000 but can only make 23,000. Gohan and Krillin attack but seem to be losing. Goku, injured and in pain, gives them a hand. Jeice tries to help Ginyu but Vegeta steps in after watching everything. He tells Jeice he has become a Super Saiyan (we know he hasn't) and sends Jeice to another dimension. Goku shouts at Vegeta saying there is no need for that kind of violence but Vegeta ignores him and turns his attention to Ginyu. Vegeta beats Ginyu easily and is just about to finish him when Ginyu decides another body change is in order. He fires the metamorphisis beam at Vegeta but just as it is about to hit him Goku flies in the way regaining his body, although it is badly beaten. Vegeta continues the assault on Ginyu and yet again tries to change bodies. This time before the beam hits Goku throws a frog which intercepts the beam, turning Captain Ginyu into a frog. Goku is hurt bad so Vegeta tells Krillin and Gohan to take him in the ship. Goku tells them to trust Vegeta, so they do. Once inside Vegeta puts Goku into rejuvenation chamber to heal him so they can fight togheter against Freeza.
