He leaves the show just before the Garlic Saga but returns during the Cell games to be the guardian of earth as Kami had fused with Piccolo.

Name: Guru Race: Namek Appears: Namek Saga Info: Guru was the sole survivor of a storm that hit Namek, he then repopulated the planet and was the leader of the Nameks until he became too old and died in the Freeza saga. He lived on a stack with Nail where he guarded the 1 stared Dragonball which he gave to Krillin. He has a special to unblock peoples hidden abilities and make them stronger.

Name: Kami Race: Namek Appears: DB/DBZ all sagas up to Cell Info:He came to Earth to become the guardian, but as there was too much evil in him he had to split into two people so his mind and body was linked to his evil side Piccolo Damiou. If Piccolo was to die so would Kami but Piccolo made himself be reborn in a younger version so Kami stayed alive. He created the dragonballs down on earth and like Piccolo if he died the dragonballs would disappear. He later refuses with Piccolo to become strong enough to destroy the Androids.

Name: Nail Race: Namek Appears: DBZ Namek Saga Info: Protected Guru, he went through special training so he was by far the strongest Namek (Piccolo not included), he tried to buy Dende some time by taking on Freeza single handedly, but was easily beaten. As Piccolo returned, a beaten Nail, persuaded him to fuse with him so that they would be stronger. After fusing with Piccolo they were able to compete with Freeza stage 2 as they knew off Freezas fighting techniques.
