Vegeta flew away from the now destoryed dodoria in hope to find the dragonballs, he destoryed a Namek village and came across a Dragonball which he then hid in some water. Freeza now had 5 dragonballs and was getting restless so send out Zarbon to destory Vegeta, Gohan detected Vegetas dragonball on the dragon radar so set out to find it meanwhile Zarbon found Vegeta and they begun an intense battle, Vegeta had the upper hand but then Zarbon transformed into a much more powerful being than Vegeta, Vegeta was overcome but Zarbon left him to die. After Zarbon went back to Freeza, he demanded that Vegeta was brought back to him so he could make sure that he died so Zarbon set out to find Vegeta.
Dende told Krillin that he could get him the 1 stared Dragonball if they went to see the eldest Namek so Krillin and Dende set off to find the eldest Namek. Zarbon managed to find Vegeta and brought him back to te ship where they would heal him, but it was a bad idea as Vegeta re gained his health and stole all of Freezas dragonballs. Krillin found the eldest Namek and the namek unleashed some of Krillins hidden powers making him stronger and then gave im the one stared dragonball. Vegeta hid his dragonballs that he stole off Freeza but noticed Krillin with a dragonball so followed him and the Zarbon followed Vegeta, they ended up fighting while Vegeta had gained much strenght from the previous fight he had become much stronger easily killing Zarbon and taking Krillins dragonball. On is return to his dragonball collection Vegeta found Goan taking him out but he did not notice that Gohan had taken one of is dragonballs so Gohan returns to Krillin, once Vegeta notices that Gohan has stolen the draongball he case after them.
Krillin and Gohan took of for Guru's so Gohan could become stronger leaving the Dragonball with Bulma, Vegeta then finds Gohan and Krillin and Gurus and begins to start a fight with Nail and Krillin but then tey sense an evil force approaching, Vegeta recognises it as the Ginyu so asks for Krillins help so that he can wish for immortaility so they can defeat the Ginyu, and Krillin agrees so running back to Bulma he gets the Dragonball and then goes to Vegetas dragonball collection
Before Vegeta can wish for immortality the Ginyu show up and its too late, Ginyu takes the dragonballs back to Freeza and Guldo begins a fight with Gohan and Krillin, Krillin and Gohan can easily win but Guldo has many tricks so once he disables Gohan and Krillin it looks like its all over but Vegeta steps in and kills Guldo. Recoome then steps onto the battlefield and begins a fight with Vegeta. Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin are easily overcome by Recoome but then Goku arrives and is MUCH stronger than the Ginyu, he easily takes out Recoome and Jecie and Burter are suprised once they find out that Goku is stronger than Burter who is known to be the fastest in the universe. Goku takes out Burter and lets Jecie leave but then Vegeta kill Recoome and Burter saying that Jeice will be Gokus downfall as he let him live.
