January 27, 2002                           - FOOTBALL BANQUET-

   The football banquet was held tonight in honor of all the hardworking Apache Football players.  The Awards section will be updated soon along with the pictures.  I would just like to congratulate all the players and coaches for the successful season. Good Luck next year juniors!!!

November 09, 2001  - DIVISION III CIF PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS-

   Ok I found the CIF Playoff Predictions for Division III.  Click Here to view it.  Looks like we may be playing Palmdale.  Good stuff!!!

November 09, 2001          - CHAMPIONSHIP GAME -

   The 10th, and final week of the season marked the well anticipated week of rivalry games.  Arcadia went head to head against the Crescenta Valley Falcons.  The Falcons came out strong scoring two unanswered touchdowns.  On the Apache's first possession, Jimmy Mnoian ran a 50 yard fumblerooski play, but the Apaches were unable to punch it in.  Arcadia's defense was able to hold CV to 14 points, but the Arcadia offense was unable to produce.  The third quarter ended up being a big one for the Apaches.  The Apaches scored two consecutive touchdowns (Brian Ziska and Brian Coker).  CV ended strong and was able to score 21 more points by the end of the fourth quarter.  The final score was 35-14, CV.

November 02, 2001          - PARENTS' NIGHT -

   The players of Arcadia football showed gratitude towards their parents in last night's game against the Glendale Nitros.  Before the game, all the parents were thanked and introduced to the crowd.

  The Apaches came out banging in the first quarter making the Nitros hopeless.  The game highlights include Brian Ziska's amazing passes to Brian Golper, and Matt Klose.  At the end of the first quarter, the score was 21-0, Arcadia.  Arcadia's great defense held Glendale to 7, and the offense produced 35 points by the end of the game.

October 27, 2001          - HOMECOMING -

  Arcadia Apaches celebrated their homecoming Friday night.  The Pasadena Bulldogs came to Arcadia's home turf pumped up and ready to take on the tough Arcadia Apaches.  Pasadena was able to capitalize in the first quarter by intercepting a pass by Brian Ziska, and scoring 8 points on their first drive.  Arcadia answered back with 6, but was unable to convert on the PAT.  The second half was all Arcadia.  The Apaches scored two unanswered touchdowns, leaving them ahead at half, 21-8.  Pasadena did not let up the second half.  They were able to bounce back in the fourth quarter tying it up.  With a little more than 2 minutes on the clock, Hanson Shieh intercepted a Bulldog's pass, sealing the victory.

October 20, 2001          - ROAD TO CHAMPIONS -

   The Apaches traveled to Glendale Hoover for their second league game of the season.  Arcadia came out strong in the first two quarters allowing the second team to come in before the half.  The team was able to get better this game by strengthening their second and third teams, and gaining their first shutout this season. The final score was Arcadia 42-0.

October 13, 2001          - ROAD TO CHAMPIONS -

  Yesterday's league opener game against Muir was a big celebration for the Arcadia Apaches.  This game was the Apache's biggest game yet.  The Apaches were able to capitalize on their first possession with a touchdown pass to Brian Coker.  The Mustangs had many opportunities to tie the game up, but countless mistakes held them back.  The final score was 21-14, Arcadia Apaches.
