BoS vs SBD (Silent but Deadly) December 15th, 2001

While it was a great match by both Silent but Deadly and Brotherhood of Steel, only
one would come out victorious. SBD played a match of hard and fast teamwork,
especially Spartak, who covered his team like a blanket on every assault. BoS
played the game with strategy and defense, and a great display by Jack Ryan,
who made some outstanding defensive saves. Who would come up the winner? Let’s
just say it was a close call but SBD didn’t go home happy :-)
We choose 3 Maps: Hydro, Beaujolais and Marrakech. The default weapon was the AK47.

Both teams played a tough match in this one. SBD rushed there players down
the middle, and BoS took the high road across the towers. With the outstanding
defensive play of Jack Ryan, backed up with the Duke and Makeveli, BoS’s star
defenders took down most of the bridge rushers, leaving barely any work at our
base. BoS’s offense faced a harder challenge, constantly running into the SBD
offense (sic!) on the bridge. But they still managed to get through and
win the game thanks to Crayon and Hostile’s brilliant work of art in the field
of getting the pics.

What can I say about this one? After a great start of 60 point for Crayons
and no scoring by SBD, SBD made an amazing come back, continually raping our base!
They kept on coming and coming with no halt in their minds. A few lucky BoSers got
by to score the odd pic, but SBD just stomped on us, and gave us a good lesson in
humility.

| MARRAKECH: |
This was definitely the closest level of them all. I’m not sure how we managed
to pull through, but we did. Out standing defense by Jack, Makeveli and Fezz,
who totally dominated anyone daring to pass through the Unity hall. And major
credit to Hostile and Crayon, who scored too many pics to count. And that’s how we
won this level.
