Tomb Raider is perhaps one of the greatest
cash-ins of videogame history. There've been at least 5 Tomb Raider games, which are now released on an annual basis. In each little seems to have changed. You run, you jump, you turn in 90 degree increments... You kill some bad guys, you kill some endangered species of animals, you steal some priceless artefacts...
The plot's pretty thin too, and the
platforming action is hardly going to win an award on its own. No prizes for guessing the REAL appeal then. |

And it sure isn't the gameplay. Lara is
undoubtedly the most recognisable games character today due to her- shall we say- 'top-heaviness'?
Rumours of the twin airbags being caused
by a developer's slip-of-the-mouse are unconfirmed, but however it happened, it sure sold a lot of shelf copies.
That would be the cause of the tasteless
pictures then. I wondered why that was. |
