The fact that a child likes a book does not necessarily means that parents and teachers will agree with his or her choices. Therefore, it is a good idea to read what other parents and educators are saying about a book. Those comments and ratings should be evaluated according to the reader's own values because it is not unusual for a person to dislike a book based on subjective considerations.
