Alondra means 'lark' in Spanish. I think it is a pretty name (not mine,
I must confess). I am a Spanish instructor and I love books and historical
fashion as well as graphic design and photo manipulation among other things.
I started selling books online in 2004 under the name of vvioletta (Ebay
and Amazon). In 1999 I had the idea of creating a web site for children
learning Spanish. "Spanish for Children" has been online for more than ten
years now, an unprofitable idea and I have had to cover its expenses most of
the time. Still, I like working on it ... when I have the time

carefully. Children's books are listed according to reading levels
to assure that the kid will not find them too challenging or to easy to
read.
Your financial information
I don't collect any financial information from you (fortunately). Either
Paypal or Amazon will process your payments. In the case of Powell's Books,
they also handle the financial part. I, therefore, hold no responsibility
with regards to problems with credit cards or security issues. In my personal
experience, I have found both Paypal and Amazon very secure and prompt to resolve
any problem. As for Powell's, even though I don't have first hand experience
buying from them, the fact that they are one of the biggest online booksellers
is reason enough to recommend them.
