EULOGY
Frank's creation 'Eulogy' has undergone some major changes in its lifetime. This coupe started out as your basic run of the mill 1.5 carby-fed GL Automatic. To his credit, Frank has transformed the coupe into the awesome showpiece you see here in January 2004. In went the new 4G93 1800cc DOHC Turbo powerplant from a GSR Lancer and the conversion to a 5 speed manual. Frank is currently running the setup via the factory GSR computer with extra boost. The larger exhaust and intercooler help the motor breathe a lot better adding to the fun of having the power unleashed through the front wheels. Body mods feature an EVO 4 front bar, EVO 3 sideskirts, a modified Proton M21 rear apron and a shortened Ford wing. Adding to the street racer look the car is dropped on a set of 17" bling bling chromies and the interior has been revamped in red and white vinyl. Anyone spot the extra gauges on the bonnet and the A-pillar? There's 5 of them in total and all visible from the pilot's position to help keep Frank in tune with what's going on. |
