Finally.., Some more Building.
Starting the framing. I'm using pine furring strips (1X2" dimensional 3/4"X 1-1/2") as the framing. This boat will differ slightly from the final plans, as this one will be dismantled after assembly and testing. I don't have any room to store the assembled boat. The plans will reflect a boat that will not come apart.
Bending and attaching the chine log, not easiest of tasks.. single handed. Notice Lil'Jon10 in its customary perch on the truck, ready to go at a moments notice. Sure wish I had time to actually use it. The truck was useful to lean the panels against, while still giving me access to the edge for screwing the panel to the chine log. Don't ya just love the swirls in the wood. Might finish this bright, just to show it off.
This is as far as I got today, Chine Log, and some top framing.
