[PROTEL EDA USERS]: Library Update

Hello Everyone,

We have today updated the libraries on our website (www.protel.com) with the
following changes.

1. LATEST RELEASE
1461 components from Dallas Semiconductor and
239 components from Allegro MicroSystems.
Each component features a matching schematic symbol and PCB footprint.

Libraries are packaged within a single Design Database file and
can be opened using either Protel 99 or Protel 99SE.

These libraries are replacements for the corresponding 'Legacy Libraries'.


2. LIBRARY INDEX
A new addition, beginning with this release, features a comprehensive,
up-to-date library index listing all 'Quality Assured' components. A single
spreadsheet records component details, such as description, footprint,
revision history and a number of other important parameters.

3. WHAT'S NEXT?
The next major release covers schematics and PCB footprints
of components from Atmel
