ManualsNot yet. Manuals and documentation for Sfx have not yet been written. This page provides a little information to get you started. For information on the SAOL language, there are two sources. The The MPEG-4 SA Final Draft Standard is available online. The overpowering advantage of this document is that it is complete and authoritative, since it is the language standards document that describes SAOL. John Lazzaro's online MPEG-4 Structured Audio Book provides a gentler introduction to SAOL. Well written, with plenty of tutorials and examples, it systematically walks through the SAOL language. The Sfx State of the Implementation page describes the state of the Sfx implementation of SAOL, which is currently incomplete. The Sfx Extensions to SAOL page describes Sfx's extensions to the SAOL language. This page will be of particular interest to authors who wish to write extended opcodes in C++. This page also describes the debugging extensions that Sfx provides.
