Strategy 1
Drag Trading - (not to be confused with the exchange of transvestite clothing)
Market Relationship
Certain markets naturally move in synch.
The Nasdaq and S&P always move in synch (most of the time).
Stress
When the markets are temporarily out of synch a Stress develops (shaded pink
area on chart).
PowerTrade© measures the stress in real time by complex functions and is based on
benchmark values adjusted every twenty minutes.
Leadership is monitored continuously (either S&P or Nasdaq).
When the Stress exceeds a threshold value (recalculated each day) and Nasdaq is the leader,
the S&P is dragged along to relieve the stress. PowerTrade© signals a trade.
The Trade
PowerTrade© signals to trade the S&P in the direction to relieve the stress.
When the Stress is sufficiently reduced, PowerTrade© signals to settle. The Stress is
relieved 80% of the time within 20 minutes.
Each trade is limited to maximum 20 minutes in duration.
This slide shows Strategy 1 in use.
The chart traces the stress for each 20 minute session.
The stress is also shown numerically (-2.5).
Today's trade summary and current trade are crucial
for monitoring daily activities.
The audible Alarm can be turned on or off.
When PowerTrade© signals a trade, the alarm sounds,
the chart blinks and the stress box turns red if "sell"
or green if "buy". An indicator shows current trade
profit and recommendation to "HOLD" or "SETTLE".
PowerTrade© does all the work. You just sit and watch
or listen for the signal!
