The kitchen is a warm bright open space leading into the dining area as well. Cupboards and the counter top are white and a soft sand color which brings one's focus to the darker hard wood floors throughout. Back lit cabinets show off old but beautiful dishes and glassware and there always seems to be fresh flowers on the island and table.
The table and chairs are made of dark wood to match the flooring and an old parisian light fixture hangs above the table. Every room of the house except for the basement seems to have bright airy windows to let in the light and the fresh cool air.
Along the left wall is a double sliding glass door that leads out onto the back deck. On the deck is a massive barbecue grill, a table with umbrella and six chairs around it. There is also a pair of loungers that used to be used for sunbathing perhaps in her mortal days.
