The second floor library is a collection of fiction gathered throughout the years, mostly paperbacks that are well cared for but also well loved. A large plush chaise sits in the center of the room for Emma to curl up and read when she needs time alone. The shelves and cupboards are all done in white with a pale pine floor and a hanging light fixture. Small lamps are placed around the room but overall it's a very cozy feeling place.
On the lower shelves there are dozens of frames, various sizes and shapes with family pictures in them. A little impish girl with green eyes on a swing in the backyard, Grandmama with Emma, her parents on their wedding day and holding her as a baby and of course the twins, one dark haired with blue eyes, the other blond with green eyes.
