Greg Spencer - Small Ensembles Director Top Dec. 6, 2001

Here's the deal with Saturday. We have a men's game at 1:00 and a women's game at 4:00. Please be at the VT by 11:30 AM. We'll be leaving by 12 and will return after the women's game. If you're only going to 1 of the games, please find your own ride either to or from, depending on your situation. We can take care of the big instruments if you need it. The men's game is at the Bradley Center and the women's is at the US Cellular Arena. If there are any questions, please feel free to call me 244-0118. Hope to see you not only tomorrow at the Christmas party at the Annex (2-5), but also this Saturday.

Here’s the deal with Wednesday, December 5th. There will be separate bands for both. However, those going to the women’s game are welcome to go to the men’s game, but may not leave the women’s game early. There will be a bus picking people up at the VT at 5:00 (women’s) and 7:00 (men’s), and then picking us up after the men’s game ONLY. Those just going to the women’s game need to find a ride back to campus. If you have a big instrument, you can take it to the Bradley Center and it will be brought back for you or you can take it with you when you leave. Those going to the women’s game need to be at the VT by 4:30 and those going to the men’s need to be at the VT at 6:30. If there are any questions, please call me, 244-0118.

Still in need for 2 trombones and 1 tuba for the blue and gold classic luncheon on friday november 30th. be at the vt at 11:00 AM.

Start to think about christmas ensembles. If you have any questions, just ask me and I can answer them. These generally occur the week before finals and it is a little gathering of instruments that play in the Union for about 30 minutes or so. It's not big, just something fun to do.

Hey everyone, hope your summer is coming to a good close. Mine is getting hectic. I just talked to Rachelle in university ministry and I was wondering if there were any trumpets that would like to play in the all-university mass on sunday. We have 2 trombones. Also keep in mind that the freshman orientation picnic is on saturday. Meet at the vt at 1:30, anyone if you can come. A band t-shirt and shorts will be fine to wear since it's too hot for the rugby and pants (it'll be above 32 :) ) We'll be playing from roughly 3-3:30. I'm going to meet with athletics to confirm right after I write this email. Hopefully the weather will hold up and it won't rain. That's all from me for now. Hope to see you all very soon.
