About
this site Why does it look like shit: Resultion must be 1024 x 768. Or have another drink. Or go to hell. Title: Acheron - River that flows into the netherworld, Hades, empire of shadows, home of the average dead soul; sometimes being called the border of this world like the river Styx, where Charon the boatsman gives the souls of the recently deceased a ride in his funky little ferry to the place of no return (only few have managed). Hades is a place where time doesn't exist, the kingdom of the bored. Quoth Achilleus: "I'd rather be the poorest sheperd of the littlest herd of sheep than to be king of this damned place." Therefore one could imagine the river Acheron as a border between living and dead, time and eternity or time and the lack of it, or as a street that leads from the realm of the living to that of the dead, from existance to non-existance. Site description: Unless otherwise stated, all pictures have been done by myself. Personally I don't think it's gross to show my deceased pets in their preserved state, and even less to keep them that way. Flush them down the toilet - I could never shit there in peace again. Bury them in the garden - hell, do you want me to re-live Pet Cemetary? Eternally floating in tasty translucent alcohol - ah, much better. Updates: Sometime. I've only just started this, and my pets don't die permantently, thank god. |
