Spiderman - This movie is really awesome. Basically, a high school student named Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically enhanced spider. From the spider's bite Peter inherit's the spider's abilities (*hehe* and also gains a NICE, muscular body O:D). In order to win the affections of Mary Jane (M.J.), Peter used his abilities to try to win her heart. Spiderman "happens" to save Mary Jane's life a few times, causing her to fall in love with the "mysterious" Spiderman (hmmm, I wonder if Spiderman is somehow CONNECTED to Peter...hmmm). Mary Jane doesn't seem to notice their similarities until the end when she realizes that Peter and Spiderman kiss the same (fake shocked expression). Peter doesn't technically turn into the "hero" Spiderman until a criminal strikes his family and the people he cares about. The Green Goblin is the main villan in the movie. He is actually the result of experiment gone wrong that split the personality of Harry's father. Harry is a friend of Peter and after Peter's uncle died, Harry's father tried to support Peter, which made Harry sort of jealous (did you get all that? :P). The ending was a little broad, it's obvious they wanted to leave it open for a sequel, but that's ok. I can't wait until the sequel comes out! >^.^<

Time Machine - This movie is a "different" take on the book, but you know Hollywood is always messing with the plot to make it more "interesting." I'm sorry, but I have to ask what is WRONG with that guy's teeth. I mean, LOOK at them~! @.@ >0.0< Anyways, this young professeur builds a time machine to go back into the past to change his future. You see, his fiancée died (right after he proposed~! ::awww::). So he goes back, and she just dies a different way (STUPID FLOWERS! She just "HAD" to have them =P). ::sigh:: This poor guy, you have to feel sorry for him playing such a depressing role in a "not-that-good-but-you-can-try-harder-next-time" movie. Why is Samantha Mumba in this movie~?!?! She's a singer, but singers can't act. TRUST me...well she was okay, but I think she was only there for the guy to fall in love with her or something. I wouldn't know. Near the end, Andy and I had to leave because Sue's movie (40 Days and 40 Nights, the movie we were ALL SUPPOSED to see...) ended, so we missed the ending. Sue was late to the movie, so Andy and I ended up seeing Time Machine (even though everyone ELSE snuck into 40 Days EVEN THOUGH it was on the OTHER side of the movie theater) *alone*.

Dragonfly - This is a *T*H*R*I*L*L*E*R* movie...hehe, which means you need to "cling" to the person next to you every so often. This movie has some REALLY CREEPY parts in it. It's about this doctor's deceased wife. He believes that she is trying to communicate with him from death through HER old patients. Interesting plot...Christine laughed every five minutes~! Haha, and there was SOMETHING in the beginning she was laughing at, but she wouldn't tell me~! I have a feeling it has something to do with me...@.@. Overall, the movie was a "bit" lame.

The Count of Monte Cristo - This is such an AWESOME movie. i had such a great time seeing this~! The basic plot is about a Frenchman who is accused of high treason by his BEST FRIEND~! @.@ Anyways, the French guy is shipped to a prison where he stays in exile for 13 years. He finally manages to escape and returns for REVENGE under the name of the Count of Monte Cristo. Yikes~! The sword fights in this movie are awesome, but a little scary for me~! >.< Well, not REALLY "scary," but whenever Dantes gets slashed with a sword, I shuddered, then "clung" onto Andy and grabbed his hand. @.@ Mercedes is so beautiful; the actress that plays her was perfect for the role and was fantastic in the movie. Oh~! Albert, *hehehe*, Albert was so cute~! *^.~*

Lord of the Rings - This movie is AWESOME!! ::sigh:: and so is "elf guy," he's dreamy (my nick name for Legolas), lol. Legolas is great...to me. Even the action scenes are exciting. There is ONE romantic part. I got yelled at by this lady for talking too much when I commented, "I want that necklace!" Hehe, I also made more comments about Legolas. Oh! There's this creepy part where Bilbo freaks out, be sure to grab onto someone...lol. Hmph, don't sit next to your cousins...Hehe, anyway, go see the movie and get *good* seats. Back to the movie, the ring wraiths are freaky, and scream too loud.

Kate and Leopold - You HAVE to see this movie!
(::sigh:: *romantic*) It has Hugh Jackman in it >^.^< !! I guess the guys will like it. I mean there's no "action" so I'm assuming it's not they're "type" of movie. Hehe, oh well, I think the movie was great. It's about a duke that travels through time to the future and meets a "modern" woman that steals his heart. There is a little twist at the end that makes it seem like everything is destined...you'll see.

Serendipity - This entire movie is based on how our soul mates are predestined and through fate and destiny we can find true love. All this starts when Jonathon runs into Sarah at a department store and instantly falls in love with her. Sarah believes her life is controlled by destiny, so she says if they were meant to be together, then "destiny" would bring them together. In order for this to work, Sarah has John write his name and phone number on a $5 dollar bill, and immediately spends it. She writes her name and number in a book, and sells it at a book shop. She explains to John that when she recieves the same $5 bill or when he recieves the same book with their names and numbers, that will be a sign that they were meant to be together (poor guy, doesn't know what he's getting in to..lol). Seems quite complicated, well it is. Ten years later, both people are engaged, but wonder what would have happened if they found one another again (hey, that's what the whole movie is about! ;D). It all comes down to a big "goose chase" that ends very romantically :D.

America's Sweethearts - This is a good romantic comedy to watch :P. I love Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones, both are one of my favorite actresses. In this movie, Catherine Zeta Jones plays a Hollywood actress who gained her fame by starring in many films with her husband. When she divorced her husband it caused her fame to crumble. In an effort to repair her status as one of america's favorite actresses again, she stars in one last romantic movie with her ex. There are a few complications :P. Her ex-husband isnt't completely over her and is slightly insane (lol) and the actress's sister/manager, Kiki is in love with her sister's ex-husband. Who is really meant for each other? Watch and find out :P. (Oh yea, this review kicks ass, better than Mr. Moviefone :P).

Moulin Rouge - This is one of my favorite movies ever! It's a real tear-jerker, it's one of the only movies that can make me cry :P. The movie is about a French dancer who mistakes a poor penniless poet for a duke who wants to invest in the Moulin Rouge. Well, she falls in love with the poet, but that conflicts with the Duke who is insanly jealous and in love with her. In the end someone dies ::gasp:: I know, it's so depressing in the end. The musical score is awesome, and this movie is NOT only romantic, it's HILARIOUSLY funny, too! I think Nicole Kidman should've won the Academy Award for this movie, but oh well.
