Glasses for Lyons Club
Please save your old glasses to forward to Lyons Club. There is a box in the Canteen.
BUILDING KEYS
We are asking our members that may have two sets of keys for our facility, to please turn one in. The cost of having new keys made is very high and we are attempting to recover whatever keys we can. So please work with us and turn in one set if possible!
“Auxiliary Notes”
The Auxiliary collects Fulmer Register Receipts. They receive 1% of the total for our important programs.
Campbell's Soup Labels (This program also includes other Campbell's Labels.), Betty Crocker points and General Mills Big G Box Top$ for Education. These are part of a competition for the most support for VFW National Home.

Dayton VAMC Visit
Starting in October we will start up VA Hospital Visits. They will be the 1st Sunday every other month. We visit patients on the 6th floor. We give them gifts & more. If you can go with us, we meet at the Post. We leave for DVAMC at 1:00 PM. If you have any magazines, leave them at the Post & call me at 937-322-7906 or email me vfw8673@yahoo.com. We also have a bingo game for the patients. All of this is rewarding and quite fulfilling not only for the patients. But, the volunteers as well. We are hoping to take Post Members, Auxiliary Members and the 1031 Jr Girls Members. All the support we can get with the project is greatly appreciated.

Post Picnic
As the youth Committee Chairman I And my Auxiliary counterpart Janet L Armatrout planned & had activities available for both adults & youth. So, this picnic was truly a family activity. We have come a long way but it’s time to turn another corner. We had 40 Kids all were finger printed & 60 Adults. All Kids & many adults won prizes.
