Munhall Area Prehospital Services and UPMC Braddock Hospital sponsored a Health Fair on Wednesday May 21st at the Waterfront. The event included free health screenings. UPMC brought their Health Van equip with "sim man" a realistic human simulator that is used to teach Emergency Rescuers how to treat difficult patients. Visitors were able to test their rescue skills on "sim man". The American Red Cross, The Fraternal Association of Professional Paramedics and The EMS Memorial were also there to visit with the community. Stat Medivac brought a helicopter and visitors were able to explore the inside. |

Crews from Munhall Area Prehospital Services helped to deliver Meals on Wheels to local residents on Friday May 23rd. This was a good chance for the medics to visit local shut-ins and check on their welfare. Both the crews and the residents had a good time during the visits. |
