My name is Steve Henshall. I was born near Manchester in the UK and moved to
the USA when I was 9 years old. That was back in 1954. I lived with
my parents, Ivan and Edith Henshall in San Jose California where I grew up and
went to school. I graduated High School in 1962 and then went into the
USAF for 2 years. I married Patricia Lynn Stowe in 1966 and we moved to
Houston Texas where we had two children. In Texas I worked as a plumber.
My son, Sean, was born in 1970 and my daughter, Sherry, was born in
1972. Patricia and I separated in the early 80's, I moved from Houston back
to San Jose and went to Heald College to earn a degree in electronics. The
divorce was final in 1985 and Trish and I remain friends. After graduating
from college I worked in the Electronics Industry for a year then took a position
as an instructor at Heald College in Santa Clara CA. I taught electronics
and mathematics at Heald for 15 years. I took an early retirement in
2000 at the age of 55 and married a Filipina named Jeverna. Unfortunately
it didn't work out and she and I are now separated and pursuing an annulment.
I spend a large part of my time in the Philippines and while here I live
in Dipolog City on the island of Mindanao. I love the tropics. The
climate is humid but healthy and I have many wonderful friends, both foreign
and local. I live a lazy life. My small retirement income is enough
to support me comfortably in the Philippines where I pursue my hobbies of Amateur
Radio, Computers, Airguns, Motorcycles, Traveling, Boating, Fishing, Photograpy
and visiting my friends. My My Son is now living in Houston,
near his mom, where he is currently working in the food industry. Sherry
also has a successful career in accounting at Stryker Endoscopy and
She and her husband Rich are the proud new parents of Kobe Ragasa, born November
27, 2002.
