8:40 p.m.

Let me just say that it was the perfect weekend. I had the just right amount of relaxation, stress, and fun. Saturday morning, I was awaken by the ringing of the phone. It was Emily, my manager. She wanted me to come into work at 1:00 p.m., instead of 5:30 p.m. It was noon by that time, so I started to get ready. I was in a really good mood. I don't really know why. Josh and I were up talking on the phone until 3:00 a.m. in the morning, and it was a really good conversation….as par usual.

It really does suck, though, that he is still in Oklahoma because our phone bills just keep on racking up. This month, I went thirty minutes about my 1000 on my cell phone…I couldn't believe it. But, we were talking on the phone, and he mentioned his little surprise to me. Apparently he has this elaborately planned surprise for me on August 3. I have no idea what to expect, but I am so excited. I have a feeling that he made something for me, and he is going to take me out…somewhere. It really makes me feel special just knowing that he has gone out of his way to do whatever he is doing. We have known each other for roughly five years, and this surprise is in lieu of that. Josh is an awesome friend, and I can't wait to see what these next five years will bring.

So, I was driving to work and singing quite loudly. I was in such a positive mood, and I wanted to say that way for my first day a Pacific Sunwear. I got to work and I put on my badge…that was spelled wrong. It was an awesome first day. I met this kid Rawhide, and he was really nice. It seemed like he was looking out for me, making sure that I was alright with my first day and stuff. Then my other manager Jay came in…YUMMY!! He was wired on energy when he came in, and he was pacing the entire length of the store. But, every time he came to the front of the store, where I was, he stopped an talked. I learned that he is doing some mini-series, and he has done some broadway shows, commercials…blah, blah. I was really intrigued. He also dances…sings…everything. He's a really good guy, and it's going to be fun working under him for the next month…(if I was only truly under him). When I left work, he mentioned that he was really hungry, so I offered to get him something. Another employee said he was hungry too, so they picked out what they wanted to eat, and I said I would get it. Jay handed me twenty for the both of them, and I left to get their food. I guess I was in a really good mood, so I said that I their dinner would be on me. I went into a Japanese sushi bar, and ordered their food. Man, sushi is realy expensive...their two dinners came up to twenty and change. But, I didn't mind, so I slower handed the cashier my credit card...

I just got off the phone with Heather...she is going to be my co-leader next fall when we teach our own class. I am totally excited to have 15 students to call my own. They are going to be freshman, so Heather and I can mold and corrupt them into our very own slaves…I mean…very well-rounded college students. :) I am incredibly happy right now, and that alone makes me happier. I ate brunch with Dom today, and it was a good visit as well. Let's just hope that this stretch of happiness that I've been in doesn't end for a while.
