November 18, 2000 For the first time in a really long time, I was able to sleep in. I woke up at around 7:00a.m. in the morning like I usually do, but I stayed in bed until around 2:00p.m. The only reason that I actually got up was because I was called down for lunch. Let me just say that there is nothing better than home-cooked food. I never realize how much I miss my dad's cooking until I am actually at home eating it. The family and I had a really nice lunch…it was good to be back in our little groove. My sister and I giving each other shit, and my mom telling us to stop. After lunch, I asked my mom if we could go shopping for a little…she said yes of course, and I got ready. I drove to the mall and we walked around for a couple hours. I must really be picky these days because I didn't buy anything. My first chance to get some free clothes without guilt, and I didn't buy anything. Go figure… However, what I did do was make sure that I had somewhere to work this week. I walked into Pacific Sunwear, and I saw one of the old guys that I worked with…Rawhide. With a name like Rawhide, there's no wonder why he's working at a store like Pacific Sunwear. Apparently, all the manager that I had worked with had all left. So, I asked Rawhide who I should talk to…and pointed me in the right direction, and I went at it. The new store manager was this guy Bobby. He looked strangely familiar, but I just couldn't place him. I told him that I used to work there, and I asked him if there would be any possible way for me to work there just for the week. He gave me a application to fill out…and the rest of the formal shit. He told me that he definitely wanted to have me come in and work this week. He said that he would give me a call…and we shook hands…mmm ;)… I was pretty much done with the mall, so my parents and I drove home. At this point, nothing would be better than to sit on my ass and watch tv…so that's what I did all night. I watched a bit of tv, listened to some music, and worked on my computer for a little. I was pretty content tonight…let me tell you. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
