Friends

Whenever you are down, they will be there for you. I don't think I could have lasted so long without them. I would gladly give my life to protect all of them. Yes, I'm talking about my friends. In Coupeville you see the same people everyday. My last school was only around 300 students. So, the friends you made where the people you could stand. Just joking. I have a little list that names all my boys and girls with little descriptons of all of them. Enjoy!

All names are in alphabetacal order to sidestep any personal bias. I apologize beforehand if I misspelled your name. It doesn't mean I love you any less. If we are close and you are not on this list, I am so sorry. I only had so much room but, my memories of us will always live on in my heart.

Samantha A.
She was my first girlfriend way back in 6th grade. Sammi is as beautiful inside as she is outside. I thought of her as a great friend. I knew if I ever needed anything from Sammi she would have my back, she is hella cool like that. A good thing to know about her is that she will always stick up and fight for her friends.
Devon B.
She was my other big sister. I went to SummerJam 99' with this crazy girl and had a great time. She is strong, dependent, and has an intoxicating energy about her. I love you girl.
Ian B.
I go way back with this fool. From elementary school up we've been tight. Just remember, way before you got so big I used to be able to take you. Now, you are the best football player I think I'll ever get to know. So when you make it to the big time you better not forget me man! If you ever need me, I'll be there for you fool. Before I left I never got to say bye to you. So if you are somehow reading this, Peace Homie. You know I love you, fool.
Patrick B.
Last year it seemed like you had every class I did. I still remember us in chemistry messin with Maria and Nikki. I always had a lot of respect for you man. You always were a good friend. I heard you got hurt again in Basketball. Coupeville is really missin out on you if you aren't playing. I wish I could have been there to help you up when you fell.
Nate B.
You were my boy back in 7th and 8th grade. We used to do some crazy stuff man. No one really knew how cool you could be because of the fact that you never showed them. You were always rude and mean to people man. I wish everyone saw the good side of you I saw.
Jessica B.
For a little bit I thought you were a cutie. But after your freshman year we kind of stopped talking. I'm sorry I never went over to your house to chill with just you. I want you to know that you are a good friend to me. Oh, and I think you should stick up for yourself more, don't let people call you names.
Lindsey B.
My other little sister. You know I had to write about you. We got along pretty well, and I was always there to help you out whenever you had a problem or needed advice. Because you were a brat every once and a while I really couldn't chill with you all the time. But the time when we kicked it, I always had fun.
Collin B.
This was my best friend for a long time. I remember going to your house and playing Mortal Kombat on that stupid hill. You and I got along so well, never getting into any big fights. I saw you that one summer in Missouri and had a great time. But that wasn't the last time I'm going to see you. I will see you again. I've always got to represent Island Side!
Mandi B.
I still remember calling you horrible names and making you cry. I am so sorry about that Mandi. To tell the truth, after we stopped fighting, I found out we got along very well. You were the girl I always had to watch out for. Every time I stayed the night at you and Collin's house I had to watch out for you when I was sleeping. Whether you came in there to try to kiss me or put shaving cream on my face you kept me on my toes.
Nadine C.
Nadine I love you. Not in a romantic way of course, but you are a girl that is hard not to love. You are so cute! I miss having those good conversations with you. I remember spending New Years at your house that one time with Marvin. I also remember chilling with you and Cammie. When I come back I have to see you again girl.
Andre C.
I hope you are representing over there man. You know I miss you man. You were the little brother I never had but always wished for. I remember playing Dreamcast with you and aboy. It was great. When I come back you better be ready to kick it with me, cause we are gonna chill.
Charmaine C.
What can I possibily say to do you justice girl? You and I have history. I know you remember Island Side back in Sierra. I chilled with you a lot a month before I left, and just stopped for a little bit. Looking back, I know I should have spent more time with you too. I miss you girl. I hope you are being a good head Soldja up there. Represent!
Jesse D.
One of my Angels. You and I haven't had much of a history together but the couple of years we had was great. You are smart, beautiful, and sensitive person. People can't help but to be nice to a girl like you. I always enjoyed your company, and I grew to charish you as a close friend. I hope you are doing well.
Blake D.
You crazy little white boy. I have played more Dreamcast with you than anyone else. I have also beaten you at NBA2K1 more than anyone else either. Before I left you were being a good soldja, if you are still representing tell Charmaine to bring you up a little.
Lily D.
Lilybilly-from-Phily, is your name looking like an Angel is your game. You were another of my Angels. Numbers cannot do you justice on the cute scale. Lily, you are sooooo cute! And within that pretty exterior is a very intelligent, hard working girl. I miss you Lily.
Patrick D.
No one that knows you ever wonders why all of your pants have holes in the seat. You were the gas machine. I can't remember how many times I yelled at you for that man. I remember having a lot of good times with you. Remember Mr. Delures in Engineering? We used to do role call in such inventive ways.
Kandace D.
For some reason we never got any classes together. You were always a cool, beautiful girl but for reasons I can't explain, we never spent any time together. When I come up there again I am going to spend some time with you.
Lisa F.
I remember the day Marvin and I went over to your house and talked with you and your mom. We had a pretty good time, huh? Ever since you came to our school, we have been friends. I want to say thank you for all the laughs we had together. Don't let anyone tell you anything that you are not. You used to call yourself stupid. I don't have any stupid friends. You are as smart as you are beautiful (off the scale). I'll see you when I come back.
Jason F.
I have no idea how many times I came over to your house and chilled with you and Marvin. Not a lot, but everytime I did I tried to forget that horrible stench coming from your upper lip. Just joking man. Sometimes you used to go crazy when I teased you. I hope you learned to keep your temper cause when I come I'm coming hard.
Michael F.
You are a smart, funny guy. I don't know what exactly to say about you. Sometimes, you have trouble saying something nice to other people and a lot of people think you are a jerk. You are, but you are also a cool friend.
Tanya G.
My beautiful older sister. Everyone who is reading this should know that without this girl right here, I wouldn't be here. Tanya has saved me countless times both physically and mentally. She is the foundation that helps support me, the sister I have always loved. Tanya, I love you more than simple words can state. I will always be there for you and I will always protect you. Stay strong and you will be successful. I love you and you are a great mother.
Brianna G.
My baby. You were the first niece I ever had. I always cared for you like you were my own. Everytime you looked up to me with those beautiful brown eyes, I just wanted to hug and kiss you. I love playing with you and seeing your smile. You are always going to be my baby. I want to see you grow into a beautiful woman and be successful like your beautiful mother.
Tamara G.
The little sister I always wished for. You were one of the coolest people I ever met. I could chill with you everyday and everyday I would always have a good time. Your laugh was crazy but you made up for that in your "Soldjaism". You always used to make up crazy stuff like that girl. You are family and I love you. You better still have your Soldja Medal. If not I'm going to have to come to your house and regulate. And you know I will.
Penny G.
You are a cool chick. I never got to hang out with you too much, but I could always tell that you are cool. When I come back we really got to meet up and kick it. I wish I could party with you guys.
Aaron G.
Aaron one thing about you is that you always represented. You were never fake. I can't ever remember you being two-faced. I'm glad we were cool and I got to kick it with you every once and a while. Play on playa.
Erick H.
You were always a good friend of mine. I can't even remember when we weren't friends. I know you don't remember, but I'm sorry I couldn't make your birthday parties. I really wanted to go but both times I was truly ill. I wanted nothing more than chill with you. I'll see you later, foo!
Maria H.
What can I say? You were my first love. To this day I still love you. When I die I will love you. You always loved me but in a different way. It was just this year that I went from being in love with you to loving you. The fact that you didn't feel the same about me most of the time I loved you taught me a lot. You showed me how beautiful and sad life could be. I wouldn't change anything about our relationship. After waiting 5 years my heart went to another. But I will always love you, somewhere deep inside of my heart.
Jacob H.
You have to be one of the funniest guys I've ever met. Hanging with you in class was just an invitation to a good time. Jacob, I can tell you with confidence, I think you are literally out of your mind. The things you do and say always put a smile on my face. I miss you man.
Alex H.
Going over to your house and playing video games used to make my days. You are a funny guy, Alex. I have to say I missed you when you went to Seattle to live. I was happy when you came back, but we didn't chill as much as we should have. I did enjoy spending time with you at the drive in though.
Emily H.
We have a lot of history. Going way back to 7th grade when we (yes we) used to get drunk on air. I want you to know that for a long time I did like you. What is there not to like? You are smart, beautiful, and funny. But by the time I started liking you we were close friends. I didn't want to change that. You are special. Stay beautiful.
Fabienne H.
You were like a fairy tale come true for me. In a time where I needed you the most, you were there for me. You are the girl of my dreams. No amount of distance between us will ever change that. I hope you are having a good time up there. I also hope you are not lonely. I want you to know, all I want (or have ever wanted) is for you to be happy. You are the yin to my yang. Without you I feel off balance. But the brief time I spent with you was enough for a lifetime. I know you will move on and maybe you already have, but I want you to know that for a brief moment I knew nothing but happiness. That moment was the moment I found you. I will love you for eternity. I'll see you when I return.
Yashmeen K.
I can't believe what you did the day I left. You went to my house at about 5:00 in the morning to catch me and say goodbye. No one has ever done anything like that for me before. I felt so proud to be able to call you a friend of mine. When I come up we will go and chill like we said we would do at Homecoming.
Ben K.
Good old Bennie, Benson, Binnito or whatever else I call you. It was cool to have you write to me. You are the bomb diggity. I'll see you when I get back. Wolves rule!
Andrew L.
I always wonder how you are doing Frenchie. Are you still eating Twisters all the time? You know I will always be the best basketball player you ever met. I can't wait to go to you and that teacher's wedding. Yes, my prophecy's will come true. Well, I hope you are representing the minorities down there with David and Koji. I wish I was down there. Oh, and I know you miss me.
Trevor L.
One of my friends from way back. Trevor I remember running around the neiborhood with you with squirt guns and having a good time. A large part of my happiness as a child was due to you. Thanks man.
Joel M.
In algebra 2 you and I were a team. We tag teamed a lot of people with jokes. You are one of the funniest guys I met. Stay cool man.
Ian M.
Ug-Lee. That was the nickname I gave you. We all know you are not ugly, but for some reason you always told people I was mean to you. Well, I chilled with you a lot before you moved. Remember those days where it used to be me, you, and Tim? Yeah, those were the best man. So stay up and represent down in Florida.
Marvin M.
You are a true soldja. Marvin, I have more good memories with you than anyone else. I have laughed with you more than anyone else. I have been kickin it with you more than anyone else. Once you told me we were closer than brothers. I feel the same way. You are closer than family man. You are my boy. You are my dog. I would die for you man, just like I know you would do for me. We started this Soldja thing and here you are off in the military. When you get out I am going to see you again. Our friendship, will always be there. I get your letters all the time. I miss you fool. You and I is just something that's too good to stop. You are my best friend man. I love you dogg. Stay up.
Alyssa M.
I remember softly stroking your arm in 6th grade. I also remember you always being there for me. Alyssa even though sometimes you had some pretty bad moods, you always made chillin with you fun. I never saw you outside of school, which is weird cause I consider you a true friend. We will have to change that when I get back.
Evan P.
Hey Evani! Looking back, that handshake thing was kind of dumb. But in Coupeville you do what you have to to have fun. As long as I remember, you were there with your crazy curly hair. You are a cool person and if I ever had a question about something you were the person I would come to. I hope you are doing well with your pictures up there.
Melissa P.
I really used to pester you a lot when we sat next to each other, huh? You were a cool chick. I remember when your boyfriend, what's his name, and I almost fought. I wasn't scared at all. I didn't need my friends to back me up either. I know there was a line I crossed but it was worth it. You are a good friend and I had to almost fight for the ability to joke with you. I would do it again if I had to.
Jessica R.
You were the weirdest girl I ever met. When I first met you I thought you were a cutie, but getting to know you was a weird experience. I'm glad I did get to know you cause I always had fun talking to you about your men troubles. Stay out of trouble and away from Oak Harbor librarys.
Aayaliah R.
My second neice is so beautiful. She is too young for school but she is pretty smart. It is because she has a smart sister to help her. I know Aayaliah will grow to be a success like her mother and sister. I want to be there to help her every step of the way. I miss and love her so much. She is my baby.
David R.
David, my Mexican thug. Well, not really, but you are Mexican. You are a cool guy. I remeber when you first came to Coupeville and whenever you needed help with anything I was there for you. I'm glad the last days together we were nice to each other. I also liked how we dressed like thugs before I left. I know Minority power is still going strong down there. I hope you are doing well.
Noah R.
I want to thank you again for my going away party. I want you to know, not going crushed me. Here it was a party in my celebration and I wasn't there. I know you spent a lot of money, and I'm sorry. When I come back I will find a way to make it up to you. Oh, and by the way, I beat your record at Shockwave Football! I got 105 points, which is 15 touchdowns. Beat that sucka!
Cammie S.
The first girl I loved and loved me in return. Our relationship was short but full of love and emotion. That is a girl I will never forget.
Oriana S.
My sunshine. Whenever I am down this is the girl that, only using her beautiful smile, can turn my day right around. If there was anyone in my life who has had that kind of effect on me, it was that beautiful girl Oriana. I wish I could write more but she is a girl you have to see to believe. She is one of the coolest people I have ever met. She was always down for whatever, and she never judged anyone.
Zachary S.
One of the craziest people I have ever had the privilage of knowing. Swankie was really a character. One of those people you never knew what was going to happen next. Had a great time with him double-dating at Homecoming.
Tim S.
This is my boy. If I ever need help in any way this is the guy I will go to. As long as I remember Tim has always had my back every time I needed it. That is a sign of a real friend. He is like my older brother. Tim has taught me lots of stuff, and made me a more rounded person because of it. I hung out with Tim a lot. He is the most dependant teenager I have ever met. I got to say I would do anything for him and I know he would do the same for me. I love this fool.
Dustin V.
I remember beating you all the time for looking at my sister. It was only because of Ian and Marvin that we got to know each other and become cool. I used to have you terrified of me, now you can barely remember why you ever thought I was scary. That is a great thing. You turned out to be a Soldja after all. Even though you and I never really kicked it that much, that time we went to Taco Bell, and Wal-Mart I had a great time. Whenever you hear Twista remember Wal-mart.
Koji Y.
Koji, Koji, Koji. You hurt yourself more than anyone I ever met. As soon as I saw you I just knew you were going to be cool. That's why David and I wanted you in our weight training group. You are great at basketball (when you aren't hurt), and a good artist. I still have that pouch you gave me and that picture you made. You better represent the Minorities down there. I'll see you later.
Emily Y.
I have had a lot of classes with you over the years. Still, I don't know you as well as I should have. Thank you for that Ghetto birthday and going away cards you gave me. They did make me feel better.
Laura Y.
If you are reading this then you should style your hair the way I used to. I miss messing around with your hair and making you even more beautiful. I remember way back in elementary school I used to like you. (Or was that your sister?)
Michele Z.
The year you come back to Coupeville was the year that I left. Figures huh? I wanted to hang out with you before I left but I could never find you at school and get your number. Well, when I come back we can kick it. Oh, and you never smelled like Sushi. I was just messin with you.
