Holeshot Racing Tech Tips/carburator
Carburator
Check Your maitnece book for your bike(if you dont
have one get one)
First check your plug Hereto see
how your bike is running.
Now if your bike runs rich read this.
1.move needle clip up one space.(look in book for
location
2.if clip cannot go any more spaces change main
jet to lower calaboration(refer to book for sizes)
move the clip on the needle to stock setting(refer
to book)
3.Now start bike and let run for 15 min. check plug
(refer to plug page)if still rich
move needle clip up one more (reapet process until
plug is normal)
4.now start bike and let warm up then let idle
wait 5 sec. and open throttle all the way very
quickly (repeat a few times)now if the bike bogges
you our running you bike to rich. to fix this turn
piolet air/fuel screw until throttle responce is
good.
5.Ride the bike if loss of power in the low to mid
range change your piolet jet to a lower
calaboration(refer to book for sizes)
Lean
1.If running lean move needle clip down a space.
2.If clip is down to last setting change main jet
one higher calaberation and put needle clip to
standard position.
3.start bike run for 15 min and check the plug if
still to lean lower the clip one possition (repeat
untile plug is normal)
4.now start bike and let warm up then let idle
wait 5 sec. and open throttle all the way very
quickly (repeat a few times)now if the bike bogges
you our running you bike to rich. to fix this turn
piolet air/fuel screw until throttle responce is
good.
