Step 3. After you get the mounts installed
do everything to the motor that you need to do. Example, if your
using automatic, get your tranny lines in and run the hoses up to the front
of the car. Get your shifter linkage hooked to the tranny, and screw
in your speedo cable, stick in the dip stick tupe for tranny fluid.
Also you will need to grind away part of the block on the driver side to
clear the steering shaft.

You should actually trim a little more than that,
since the the motor will flex from side to side. Giving you more
than enough room. I trimmed more off after this picture was taken.

Those are the
transmission coolings lines. I'm not running the fluid through the
radiator, I'm gonna run them through a transmission cooler. I ran
rubber lines cause they are easier to run. The dipstick tube is in
also. You can get the shifter linkcage from underneath. The Chevette
tranny and the s-10 tranny are almost the same thing.
This is the
oil filter adapter you need to get. With this kind of adapter you will
not need to have it relocated or anything. It just clears the steering
knuckle.
The radiator on the left
is a radiator from a v6 Monza. This picture shows the difference
in the Monza radiator and the stock Chevette radiator. It should
keep the 2.8 cool. Does anyone disagree?
