The Contraption

The wheelbarrows were dumped into a pile that was pulled up out of the mine by this thing. As you can see it is built on the truss of an old truck. What it does is sift through the stuff that we jackhammered off the walls of the mine. First it throws out the big rocks, then it sifts out the dirt. What is left is rocks to be sorted for precious stones.
