Association of Concrete and Asphalt Producers of the Philippines held Seminar on Engineering Materials

One on-rush activity of ACES, the Seminar on Engineering Materials presented by the Association of Concrete and Asphalt Producers of the Philippines, Inc. (ACAPP) was held triumphant on August 18, 2003 at Adamson University - OZ AVR. The seminar focuses on Engineering Materials intended for future Civil Engineers.

Mrs. Ellen Chua, President of ACAPP spearheaded the seminar together with her colleagues Mrs. Hedy Baretto and Engr. Abner Lomibao.

Topics discussed are on Construction Materials Quality, Concrete and Admixtures and Procedures in Getting Good Quality Concrete. Almost 200 CE students from 3rd year to 4th year attended the afternoon seminar.

Future Batching plants visits are brought up on the seminar and 5th year CEs approached the speakers for questions regarding their on-going CE Projects.
