1964 Futura 

I purchased this '64 Futura on April 1, 1988. She was in much need of repair. I started buying parts for her off and on for about three years. Then I sent her off to the body shop to be painted. I had to wait six months for the paint to settle. Then wet-sanded it with Grit and buffed it out. Next came the assembly which wasn't finished until 1992.

Then came the real test -- taking it for the first DRIVE! The thrill of the power and the beauty was overwhelming. Man did it feel good. I then started entering her in car shows and she did me justice. We placed second in 1993 at the Falcon Nationals, first in the Southern Nationals All Fords in 1995, first at Music City in 1997. I  have had her in the Carl Casper Custom Auto Show in Louisville several times as Non-Comp.

Now that I'm retired I'm ready to start some new projects.
