Ordering ArmorMy Paladin, Calderon, is a LGM Armor Crafter on Lancelot, with a current skill of 1160. I make all levels of armor but the level 51 AF102 is by far the most requested. If you'd like to place an order through me, please send an email to Calderon501@hotmail.com. Be sure to include the following in your email:
To the right is a price chart for Level 51 armor. The 99% Quality price is the actual
price for the customer. The prices listed for masterpiece armor is only an estimate. I
rarely take MP orders, but if you would like some I explain how it works below. Until I
post a price chart for other levels of armor, I will respond to your email with a quote
before making. How does MP pricing work?MP stands for Masterpiece. It is a 100% quality item and can store more imbue points from spellcrafting and more charges from alchemy than a 99% quality item. An MP comes along at an average of 1 in every 50 tries. When making MP orders, I sell back every attempt that is not an MP to an NPC merchant at a loss (generally storing any 99%s). The MP Estimate listed price to the right is assuming the loss on 49 failed attempts at an MP, plus the actual cost to make the one MP item. For example:
MP Average price: (22g x 49 failed attempts) + 97g for the successful one = 1,175g. Please understand this is an estimate. Your cost will be the cost of materials for the MP item, plus the loss for the total of actual fails to get that item. It could be much less, or it could be much more than the estimate. If you happen to get an MP in the first few tries, your price could conceivable be less than posted for 99% quality. If, however, it takes closer to 100 tries, your price could be twice that which is listed for the MP estimate. 1 in 50 is the AVERAGE. It does not mean you are guaranteed one within the first 50 tries. It may very well take more, but on average, it will be 1 in 50, right around the price listed here. For some reason, people think that 1 in 50 means they will probably get one in around 25 tries, maybe even fewer. This is not true. 1 in 50 means on average you should get an MP every 50 tries (give or take). You'll also note from this example how I come to my 99% prices. The average 99% is
1 in 6, thus 99% quality price is (22g x 5 failed attempts) + 97g = 207g. Some crafters sell items below the average cost. I cannot afford to do that. I do recommend you look at the consignment merchant search however. You might find someone selling stock at a reduced rate. It would be worth your time to check. If you can't find what you are looking for, feel free to place an order through me. |
