I've been on a few patrols so far and taken some pictures. The countryside is beautiful. It looks a lot like Colorado. At Montieth we are surrounded by mountains on one side and the city of Gjilane on the other. When I'm not going out on patrols, I'm working in the TMC (troop medical center). We have a squad that runs the TMC and provides sick call everyday and we have ambulance squads that are prepared to go out if called for an evacuation. We run 24 hrs a day, so at times we work nights and other times we work days. Soon I will be starting a college course offered here through the education office. With work, school and my time at the gym I am keeping myself busy and time is going by quickly.
