The Higher Elevations formed in early 2001. It took some time
to get the songs together and really get ready to play for an
audience but since fall 2002 they have tried out some tunes
playing small venues around their hometown.
Quite soon they drew attention from small record label Kite
Recordings and recorded some songs for a possible winter release.
After some delays the single was out in April 2003. The band
are now promoting the single and preparing for recording their
follow up.
