The ivory nut is a rare hard tree seed that is carved into the dolphins. It is very hard and shellacked and will last a long time if not allowed to get wet. The creature is attached with pandamas straw rope but they are great strung onto a chain and worn. We have been asked about different sea creatures (ask, if you want a different sea animal). The carvers come from the island of Kapinga Marangi, a tiny isle south of Pohnpei. They have their own mini village in Kolonia. Available are dolphins, manta rays, turtles and sharks.

We accept checks drawn from a business account and hold orders until clearance. Personal checks will be held for a month for clearance.
