Strangely, the game looks similar in style with 1994's ''The Adventures of Batman & Robin'' by Konami for SNES. Since that game is one of the best batgames, this is no bad thing. The game is basically a platform game. Batman can run and jump and attack with his fists, his batarangs and bombs. In some cases he can use his grappling hook. There are several levels in the game where you fight some of the well-known super-villains, like Mr. Freeze, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Bane and Two-Face. A nice touch is the inclusion of a motorcycle racing level with Batgirl, and the fact that you get to play with her in the Poison Ivy level.

The graphics are pretty good for an 8-bit game. It looks like an adaptation of the aforementioned SNES game. There are GBC games with far better graphics but Batman has pretty good too. The sound is pretty bad, since there are just 2 or 3 different music tracks, and the SFX basic.

The control system is precise, but in some difficult parts it ''betrays'' the player. The game is pretty hard, but there is a password feature that makes it more playable.
