Of all the consoles, perhaps Game Boy in its various ''versions'' saw the most Batman games, 4 for the classic black and white and 3 for Game Boy Color. Batman of 1990 is somehow classic amongst the players, despite the awful Batman sprite it had. Acclaim's Batman Forever was awful, Batman: Return of the Joker pretty good, but the really good black and white game was Konami's Batman: The Animated Series. Ubi Soft's Batman: Chaos in Gotham for color was pretty good, and reminiscent of the 1994 SNES game based on the animated series. The other two color games, Catwoman and ''Beyond'' were awful. There is a forthcoming game scheduled for Game Boy Advance. Info in www.planetgamecube.com |
