If you will be supplying interior illustration or a front cover image, they need to be of the highest quality and supplied to us in a specific manner, so please follow these instructions exactly:

1. A front cover image must in color and sized to 6.13 x 9.25 inches.

2. All images must be scanned at 300 dpi. Lower dpi scans will not be accepted. Higher dpi scans are not needed for the printing process.

3. The file must be in TIFF format with an extension name of ".tif", not ".tiff". Do NOT use the jpeg format!

4. Identify each image file. Number them in the order to be used in the book (i.e. 001, 002, 003, etc.), then place an underline, then enter the chapter number (i.e. 001, 002, etc.).

5. If you wish to include a caption with an illustration, create a caption list with the image file name created above followed by the caption. For example: 001_001 They swung through the trees.

6. If your book has more than 10 images for inclusion, burn them onto a cd-r or dvd-r, place it and a printout of the captions in a padded envelope, and mail to us when we request it:
