Operation Golden Rule Of Love / False Vows

Operation Golden Rule Of Love:
Domkirk has a vision of Hitomi standing on a demolished mecha. Mecha with light beams attack airships.
Zaibach soldiers talk about the girl from the Mystic Moon.
In a town beside a calm sea, the Crusade's crew drink. Hitomi is astonished to hear that a Dryden / Millerna wedding has been arranged. Hitomi, Dryden, then Van, Millerna's sister Eries, and Millerna come together.
Millerna is choosing dresses when Hitomi comes in. Millerna asks Hitomi if one of the dresses is OK, then asks if she has come about the wedding. She goes on to say that it's alright, he is handsome and has money... Hitomi recollects how enthusiastically Millerna greeted Allen when she first met her. Hitomi says that it's a lie, then suddenly breaks off and apologises, as she realises that if the wedding goes ahead, Allen will be free.
Millerna asks Hitomi to tell her fortune. Hitomi hesitates, then runs off to get her Tarot cards.
Folken and Domkirk talk about fate, and the Girl from the Mystic Moon.
Hitomi finds Van, who gives her a fruit and talks about Atlantis and his plans. Hitomi is disconcerted. She stands on a bridge, throws a stone into the water, and mutters "Idiot".
Allen is visting a cemetery where his mother is buried. Millerna's elder sister Elise turns up and they talk about the wedding. She leaves flowers and he thanks her.
Zaibach talk of the presence of the girl from the mystic moon, with a flashback to the 3 cages. One of the cat-girls tosses a coin.
In the Astorian capital it starts to rain. Sheltering, Hitomi averts her eyes in embarrassment from a couple who are kissing.
Folken gives instructions to one of his cat-girls about Allen Schezar and Hitomi Kanzaki. "Unmei Kaihen" he says. The change in Domkirk's planned destiny is beginning.
In the rain, Allen is thinking of Millerna. Hitomi is thinking of Amano. Allen and Hitomi meet in the rain, and kiss. At the same time, Folken kisses his cat-girl. Domkirk, watching, approves.

False Vows:
As Allen and Hitomi stand together on the bridge, Van sees them and walks away. Later, Allen comes to Hitomi's room and says that he still loves Millerna.
The two cat-girls have a violent practice fight and then argue about their feelings for Folken, and remember how he rescued them when they were small.
Millerna searches her jewel chests for a particular item, then surprises the Mole-man who is sneaking out beneath a draped chest. He hands over a piece of jewellery.
Folken gives instructions to his catgirls, who are now fastened into a machine which is enhancing them.
Hitomi leans over a wall, wondering if Millerna's marriage will really turn out all right. While she is thinking about Allen and Van, Millerna comes up and surprises her. Millerna asks Hitomi to read her fortune for her. Hitomi sees from the cards that the marriage will lead to disaster, but suppresses this information.
The ceremony opens with barges carrying the bride and groom passing along the canal. Millerna's father, King Aston, sits in a wheelchair. Hitomi, in the crowd, is holding a card. She mutters something, and the crew members standing immediately behind ask her what she means. She says that it's nothing now, and that the couple are fortunate. The wedding ceremony progresses.
Folken's airship approaches. The cat-girls are ordered to get Hitomi.
Hitomi has an awful vision of the city under attack, and runs forward, shouting that the wedding must be stopped. However she trips and falls on the red carpet, and then Millerna and Dryden kiss.
The airship covers the sun, and the two cat-girls' teiring guymelefs sweep down to attack. "Why?" the King asks. Van flies up in Escaflowne and engages one of the cat-girls in air combat. He has a lot of trouble, and as he breaks off the girl is apparently expecting him to fall into the harbour. He seems to be having trouble with Escaflowne on landing.
With the attack paused, Folken issues his demands, the first of which is that the girl from the mystic moon, Hitomi Kanzaki, be handed over.
Hitomi confesses to Millerna that the marriage was ill-omened, but that she lied about the reading because she wanted the wedding to go ahead, and that she loves Allen. Hitomi, who evidently has had enough, surrenders herself to the teiring, telling them that she is the girl from the mystic moon, the one they want.
