Twilight's Eye:
Every character has their own intentions for going after the Key of the
Twilight, though no one really knows what it is or what it will do.
Bear and Mimiru are doing it for Tsukasa, who Bear believes is a girl
hooked up to life support in real life. He confided this to BT, who in
turn told others, and the info eventually got back to Mimiru, who was
not happy Bear withheld information from her. Tsukasa hopes the Key of
the Twilight will open the sleeping girls eyes.
In this episode we learn that the message posted to the BBS spoke of
lost worlds, worlds that existed only in the game prototype but were
lost before upgrading to its current form that has sold 27 million
copies. Kurim and Subaru think that maybe with version upgrades, there
were also forgotten items. Kinkan contributes that there are three
places for legendary power in artifacts.
BT and Kurim head out to look for the right place. When they get there,
they explain that alphabetical code can turn into three words and
combining those three words will combine fields. With that bit of
knowledge, BT is able to open the Twilight Eye.
Castle:
Starting from the opening of the Twilight Eye, BT and Kurim enter the
gateway created. Sora follows. Bear, Mimiru, and Tsukasa arent
far behind. No one knows what will happen in this realm. At one point,
Mimiru falls through a crumbling bridge and Bear barely saves her.
They wonder what would happen if she falls. Will she continue from the
save point?
Kurim senses hes being followed and tells BT to go ahead to the
Key of the Twilight. Hell stay and fight Sora. During their fight,
Sora tells Kurim that he and BT plotted against him from the start. Was
he really ready to let BT get the Key of the Twilight?
Meanwhile, Tsukasa, Mimiru, and Bear enter a chamber where there is an
upside down man entangled in some kind of red stuff. He is the one who
sent a message to the BBS about the Key of the Twilight. The man tells
them / Tsukasa that he loves them and that he has failed
failed
miserably as a father. He tells them that she is our hope and flashbacks
to the Sleeping Girl in White. He then asks for forgiveness. The place
starts to fall apart. Tsukasa says he thinks hes found it, but Bear
and Mimiru pull him out of the room to get to safety. As they are running
out of the collapsing realm, the Cat comes with Tsukasas guardian.
In what looked like an attempt to hit Mimiru, the Guardian hits Tsukasa.
He falls to the ground dead as his body turns gray.
