Shiro's Between Episode Comments: Wondering what happened? You may remember Richard describing Kyosuke's battles with Underlike, Chief Nurse Barami and the Skeleton Man. But you don't remember seeing them in Disc One / Disc Two? Don't worry - you haven't missed anything. Those fights all took place over a month's time - but you won't see them. The Kirahara Group's video surveillance isn't a great as they thought it was! Episode 05; Beyond The Human Realm: As Kyosuke sneaks into Kirihara's base to rescue Kasumi, another Flicker, Shiro and Komugi advance to the core of the base. There they attempt to sabotage a "Flicker Searcher" developed by the Kirihara Group - but are stopped by woman with a mysterious relationship to Shiro. After being separated from Kasumi during a sneak attack, Kyosuke strays into an experimental city inside the base. There, the leader of the Hospital Richard Vincent awaits. Richard transforms into the deadly SoulCrusher and attacks Kyosuke, at the same time revealing some of the dark secrets behind the SoulTaker's origin! Shiro's Between Episode Comments: Wondering how we knew about the Flicker Searcher? Well, during some of our long talks, we were able to piece some things together and figure the Kirihara Group must have some kind of device able to track the flickers. Elementary really. We can't record every minute of our dialogue for you, you know - you should be able to figure some things out - we sure had to! Also - see that guy in the last bus stop scene in Episode Four? And in Episode Five where Kasumi is kidnapped? Watch the photo strip fall out of the booth! That Bandaged guy sure gets around! Episode 06; The Malevolent Stratosphere Castle: Surrounded by the automated T-Dolls, Shiro and Komugi can only watch helplessly as Kyosuke loses his fight against the SoulCrusher and plummets through the air. Saved by someone and cared for by another Flicker, Megumi, he wanders around the strange castle in the sky. Acting sisterly, Megumi pretends to care for him, though she makes strange comments. When she viciously attacks Kyosuke, he is saved by Zabo, the dying "Warrior of the Morgue," and a former Hospital employee. Knowing that his final hour is close, Zabo, who lives to pit himself against the strongest of the Hospital's mutants, abandons his castle to attack SoulTaker. Trapped, Megumi watches the battle until the arrival of a mysterious bandaged stranger… |
