The Southland

          The Burden Of Arabia (Isaiah 21:16) adds one year through 5922 from Creation (i.e. 1917 to 1918 Spring to Spring).   And only "one year" should cause people to ask, "Why one year?"   That is, during and following World War I the Allied conspiracy (led by French, British, American, and Russian betrayal and treachery) dealt very deceitfully against the Arab peoples who were one of the "Allies" but were treated like the enemy when the spoils were divided.

          To entice Arab participation to join the Allies, promises had been made to Emir Hussein, Grand Sherif of Mecca, and his Arabs to restore Arab sovereignty over all Arab lands liberated by them from the Ottoman Turks.   The lands of the promised Husseini Caliphate were defined in official documents as all lands East of the Mediterranean bounded on the North by the 37th parallel, on the East by Persia and the Persian Gulf, on the West by the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, and on the South by the Indian Ocean.

          In turn, Hussein's Arab army led by the Emir's sons, Faisal and Abdullah, who together with their friend and advisor, Lawrence of Arabia, kept the Turks preoccupied to deter Turkish assistance to Germany, routed the Ottoman Turks from the lands South of the 37th parallel including from Jerusalem and Damascus, and forced the Ottoman surrender.   Also, when British forces attempted to push up the Euphrates River and were captured by the Turks, Husseini forces were responsible for liberating the captured British regulars.   Therefore, Hussein obviously kept his part of the agreement.   Then when the war ended Hussein discharged his warriors.

          However, the deceitful Allies had drawn up a second set of secret plans and secret agreements to divide the Arab lands amongst themselves and Jewry while allowing the Arabs only the desert wastelands of Arabia.   At that time oil had not yet been found beneath those wastelands.

          Those treacherous plans were then forcefully implemented following the 1920 Treaty of Serves even to the point of financing and arming Ibn Saud to seize the wastelands and Mecca from the Emir Hussein when Hussein refused to betray his people and consent to the doublecross.

          Isaiah clearly speaks of this treachery and the inhabitants of Teman (Isaiah 21:1-7).   Even Habakkuk refers to Teman (Habakkuk 3:3) and that's where the preflood City built by Cain and Noah's Ark should be found.

          "... after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon (this unrighteous world) I will visit you, and perform My good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place (the Southland)."

          Isaiah And Jeremiah's 70 Years:  The Burden Of Tyre (Isaiah 23:15,17) and serving The King Of Babylon (Jeremiah 25:11-12; 29:10).   "Tyre," the major merchants ignoring The Word of GOD, and "the King of Babylon," Satan at the left hand of GOD ... both have had a special 70 years.   Therein the people of this world more directly and obviously have served the King of Babylon; while, Tyre (the major merchants) continued to do their thing (Jeremiah 25:11; 27:6-11; 28:14; Isaiah 23:1-18).   People who turned from evil ways became a prey for the wicked (Isaiah 59:15; Jeremiah 30:11-17).   (Also, see:  Jeremiah 25:1 thru 29:32; Revelation 17:12-17).

          This 70 year interval extended from the end of 5922 thru 5992 from Creation (i.e. 1918 to 1988 AD Spring to Spring).   Note:  each individual's life span is 70 years more or less (Psalm 90:10); so, in the absence of The Glory Of GOD throughout much of history, each individual has been subjected to dwelling 70 years more or less within the land of the North, this fiery furnace with one "like" the Son of GOD (Daniel 3:25).   This condition now continues until the eternal Congregation physically gathers unto "Shiloh" (Genesis 49:1,10) when GOD'S Holy Ark and The Glory Of GOD are once again restored amongst His people (Zechariah 2:5,10-13; 5:9-11; Isaiah 40:5,10; 29:6; Leviticus 26:11-12; II Maccabees 2:4-8; Joel 2:25-27; Zephaniah 3:14-18; etc.).

          After Jeremiah's 70 years extensive tribulations are to come upon the King of Babylon, Jerusalem, and the whole world (Jeremiah 25:12-33); and, "... after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I (the LORD) will visit you, and perform My good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place (the Southland)" (Jeremiah 29:10).   But back to the next link in this chain of events:

          Judah's 40 Year Iniquity (Ezekiel 4:6; Numbers 14:34-35):   To assemble this link we must back up 40 years from the end of Isaiah and Jeremiah's 70 years, from the end of 5992 back 40 years to the end of 5952 from Creation (1988 unto 1948 Spring to Spring).

          "Judah," of course, represents this whole unrighteous world over whom the throne of the Sixth Kingdom (Solomon's children), Judah, has reigned ever since Solomon ascended to David's throne (Psalm 60:7; 78:68; 108:8; I Chronicles 5:2; Genesis 49:1,8-12; Revelation 13:1-10; Amos 2:4-5; 5:25-27; Malachi 2:11-12; Jeremiah 17:1-4; 22:1-9; Daniel 7:8,11,20-24; 8:9,23-25).

          In the Spring of 1948 "... thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm (the left arm) shall be uncovered (exposed), and thou shalt prophecy against it" (Ezekiel 4:7).   And Jewry's Declaration of Independence was dated 14 May 1948 and the left arm became obviously exposed.

          Remember, during the 390 year iniquity of Israel (See Fig. 10d) the right arm was exposed (Ezekiel 4:4; Isaiah 52:1-15; Psalm 110:1-7) representing the right arm of GOD over which Jesus presides; whereas, during Judah's 40 year iniquity the left arm was exposed representing the left arm of GOD over which Satan presides.   Daniel, of course, speaks of the demise of the Sixth Kingdom as it was displaced by the Seventh Kingdom (Daniel 4:30-31; Zechariah 5:4; Revelation 17:10-11).

          Thus, since 1948 AD the left arm of GOD has been very obvious to anyone willing to observe!   O.K., on to the next link of our chain:

          Daniel's 70 Years (Daniel 9:2,24-27):  Daniel's 70 years extend from the end of 5952 thru 6022 from Creation (i.e. 1948 AD to 2018 AD Spring to Spring).   Again, Daniel 9 is speaking of a total of 70 years (Daniel 9:2).

          "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem (the siege of Jerusalem: Ezekiel 4:7) unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (7 years), and threescore and two weeks (62 years) (a total of 69 years)..."

          Thus, Daniel's 70th year coincides with 6022 from Creation, the 22nd year of the seventh millennium, the year of the glorious Solemn Assembly (Colossians 2:16-17; Leviticus 23:36,39; Nehemiah 8:14-18; Matthew 24:29-31).   Earlier, at the close of Daniel's 62nd year ... at the end of 6014 from Creation (i.e. the Spring of 2010 AD), Salvation will be closed (Daniel 9:26), the Messiah will be cut off from the lost, and the mystery of GOD will be complete or ended (Revelation 10:7; Isaiah 25:7-8).

          The Parable Of The Fig Tree:  A mirror of Daniel's 70 years is described as The Parable of the Fig Tree (Matthew 24:32-35; Mark 13:28-31; Luke 21:29-33).   "This generation (70 years) shall not pass...."   And the life-span of a generation is 70 years (Psalm 90:10).   So, The Parable Of The Fig Tree also refers to Daniel's 70 years.

          This chain of events now leads the reader back to the beginning of the Final 42 Year-Hour, The 35 Years of Severe Tribulations, The 14 Preparation Years, The Half-Hour Wait, The Human Shepherd's Anointing (in 1978 AD; the end of 5982 from Creation), and much more ... even back to the Birth of Josiah in 5933 from Creation (1928-1929 AD Spring to Spring) (See Fig. 10b).
